4.8244 reviewsJust got back from the Seoul edition, and it was SPECTACULAR. Compared to 10+ similar trips I did with Noma/Remote Year/Hacker Paradise, this one was my favorite! Jeong and Dogukan went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our time there, and importantly seemed to care :). Both Seoul natives, the facilitators provided expert recommendations of cafes and restaurants to try, and were able to answer any random question I had about mapping the streets, how to take public transportation, or translating Korean text. No awkward drama within the community, thank goodness, and all my eleven new friends were super lovely and a delight to explore with. Seoul itself was packed with things to do. It might be the best place on earth to get your beauty treatments, health checkups and dental work done all in one go, and in terms of quality and cost. Hongdae was vibrant literally all night if you enjoy dancing and being out and about alongside the 20-something set. All in all, this edition turned out as close to perfect as it could go!
Just finished the South Korea leg with Noma, and it was an amazing experience. The city managers were incredibly helpful and supportive the entire way, which made everything run smoothly. There were plenty of well-planned Noma outings, along with enough free time to relax and enjoy the trip with the group. The accommodation was great, and the location was even better — overall, a fantastic experience from start to finish.
Had an amazing time with wonderful people. Such a great way to “solo” travel with people. Everything is so well thought out, it’s like being on a pre planned vacation! Sarah is absolutely incredible. So welcoming and really helpful. She also does a great job of connecting with everyone, even when it is a big group. I adore her, cannot recommend enough!
This was my first group trip and honestly, I was lucky to have such amazing people around to make it an unforgettable experience. Sarah, our community manager, worked her butt off to plan each day and make the most of our time. Great communication about the daily social events and activities outside of work hours, while going above and beyond catering to each and every one of our needs. She truly cared about us having an amazing experience and Noma is lucky to have her! The only cons to speak of are, 1) the location of the resort is pretty far from Placencia village which makes it feel like you are stuck on the resort most of the time, and 2) the working conditions are not great - very uncomfortable chairs, no desks, and no private working space. For the price, I would have expected a little more from Noma but again, the people and memories really made up for it.
This review is really about Sarah, the on-site community manager who supported us for three weeks on a Noma Collective trip in Belize. Sarah was exceptional. She didn’t just manage logistics, she held the entire experience. Group activities, excursions, transportation, last-minute changes, and all the little personal things people needed help navigating along the way. She was responsive, steady, warm, and deeply competent, which made a huge difference over a 3 week stay. My work is centered around supporting women to see that it’s truly possible to travel the world and grow a successful, meaningful business at the same time. Watching Sarah support exactly that, in real time, was powerful. She embodied what remote work and leadership can actually look like when done well. Having her on site elevated the experience in a way I haven’t seen on other retreats or group trips. Things felt smoother, more human, and more cared for because of her presence (Plus, everyone seems to know her, and she’s infamous in this town.) Any constructive feedback is more about Noma Collective than Sarah, which I appreciate is what this review highlights, but when you could review the company from trip to trip, the reviews could be wildly different. There were a few areas where expectations around programming and costs could have been clearer upfront. Even then, Sarah handled those moments with professionalism and grace, often smoothing things out for the group. I also personally think that three weeks is a little too short for this type of experience. Depending on your workload, it can make things feel a little tight. I think four weeks would be more appropriately spacious. Bottom line: Sarah is the reason this Belize experience worked as well as it did. She’s an incredible asset to any community or team and I’m grateful that there are companies like Noma, who offer these trips for those of us who really get that you don’t have to only do life one way.
I recently went on my first Noma trip to Belize! It was an incredible experience. It was so well organized and planned — I made so many memories that I’ll fondly look back on. The location of the property is far out from the town and the action. It’d be great to have more evening shuttle options or shared golf carts for the group. I think this edition could really be elevated if it was located closer to the main town area. This should also be specified on the website when booking. AND a special and big shout-out to Sarah for being an amazing community manager and taking such good care of our group. She was so helpful and great to hang out with. We all wanted her around! If you’re thinking about booking a Noma trip… this is your sign to do it!!
I spent January in Belize with Noma Collective and had an incredible experience. It was such a fun way to live and work alongside other people who work online while still having structure, community, and adventure built into daily life. Sarah was an amazing community manager, thoughtful, organized, and genuinely warm. During the month I checked off several bucket list experiences. I got PADI certified and learned how to scuba dive, caught my first tarpon on a fly rod, and met so many wonderful people along the way. We shared dinners, spent time on the beach, stayed productive with work, and enjoyed being somewhere warm and vibrant away from the winter cold. The experience struck a great balance between community, adventure, and remote work life, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone interested in a digital nomad experience.
I did the Noma trip in Belize and it was incredible. I felt fully comfortable and completely equipped to get my work done while still having plenty of time to explore the country. What really made the trip special, though, was our community manager, Sarah. She created such a welcoming, fun environment that made it easy for everyone to connect. Her recommendations were spot-on, and beyond that, she was just an awesome person to hang with. She truly elevated the entire experience
Lucky was absolutely amazing and made the experience better. I can't imagine that I could have enjoyed the trip as much without him. He was knowledgeable, attentive and well connected.

Beautiful experience Noma takes care of eveything and they chose the perfect house manager Lucky! Highly recommend for the working professionals.
Just wrapped up our Cape Town edition and can't say enough good things. Truly one of my favorite new cities + an incredible experience with Noma and our community manager, Lucky! Lucky integrated us into his life in Cape Town, showed us the best the city had to offer, answered all of our questions and concerns, and we left as friends. Can't wait to come back to Cape Town and to plan my next Noma edition!
Capetown édition was amazing. Great location, great adventure, great community manager! Cape Town is amazing. I recommand highly
Had a great time in Cape Town, South Africa. Lucky, our community manager was amazing and showed us everything the city has to offer.
Genuinely had the most amazing time with my Noma group in Cape Town! This was my very first trip with Noma and it was such a great experience that I booked another trip with them for the following year! The people I met will be life long friends and this is a city that has everything! I will never forget Cape Town. It easy to slow travel here as there’s SO MUCH to explore! I’m a solo traveler at heart but being with this group highlighted that I can enjoy community travel too!
I recently went on my first edition with Noma Collective in Placencia, Belize! I first want to say that I had an amazing time and met some awesome new friends! It was great having a community of people around me with a similar schedule and who could relate to my work while travel lifestyle. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because I feel there could’ve been clearer communication of expectations from Noma before the trip. When I booked it, I was not aware that the accommodations were actually located in Maya Beach - about 25-30 minute drive from Placencia. I was expecting to be located in a more walkable area which would’ve been more conducive to my work schedule and would’ve allowed me to do more exploring. I also feel like it would’ve been easier to integrate with the community and local culture if we were staying closer. That being said, the highlight of the experience was definitely our community manager, Sarah! She did everything she could to make this trip amazing! It’s so apparent that she truly cares that the nomads enjoy their experience and get the most out of their time in Belize. She was super fun, informative, and organized! Also, she was always happy to answer any questions or give recommendations. While with her, it was so easy to see that she’s ingrained in the community of Placencia. Walking around town, the locals were always talking to her or saying hi, and it was just so nice being with a local who took us under her wing! She set the vibe for the whole trip, and I’d highly recommend any trip/edition that she is managing!
My Noma Collective experience in Belize was incredible, and a huge part of that was Sarah, our community manager. She deserves her own paragraph. Sarah is one of those rare humans who is both warm and kind while also being organized, fun, and unbelievably knowledgeable about the area. She knows everyone in Placencia, always had the best recommendations, and made every outing better just by being there. She set the tone for the entire community — welcoming, communicative, and effortlessly bringing people together. I felt supported from day one, and she’s a big reason why the group bonded so well. As for the Belize edition itself: I came hoping to meet likeminded people in a beautiful place, and that absolutely happened. The community was amazing, the people were a highlight, and Belize is truly stunning. A couple things to note: • Umaya Resort is further from Placencia than expected — about a 25-minute drive. It felt a little isolating at times, and I think including a golf cart or easier transport option would make a big difference for future groups. • There is not a dedicated workspace, and it can be tricky if you’re someone who’s on calls often. Even with those things, the overall experience was still so worth it. I left feeling connected, refreshed, and grateful for the people I met — especially Sarah. Noma Belize is a beautiful, unique experience, and with a few improvements to the location logistics, it would be unbeatable.
Little over a month ago I went on my first Noma trip to Japan, this was my first time in Asia! It was such an incredible experience, the team that put it together was super helpful especially our community manager Dylan Hinchliffe! Big shout out to him. We all literally would be lost with nothing to do, and he put things in action, herded the cattle to go do stuff around the area. All in all I’d 200% percent recommend taking this trip with Noma as I know I’ll definitely be back for more.
Had an unforgettable experience visiting Brazil for the first time with Noma collective in Pipa. Our community manager, Mariana, was awesome. She was full of spunk / energy, brought a true local perspective and helped us make the most of our time there. If you’ve ever had an itch to check out South America, book the trip to Pipa.. you won’t regret it!
I had a blast on the Pipa, Brazil edition of Noma Collective! It was a beautiful destination, went on so many adventures, and was lucky to have Mariana, an incredible community manager, and the best group of digital nomads to experience it with! Memories and friendships that I treasure. Muito obrigada!
The most incredible 3 weeks of my life. I really felt like I lived in Buenos Aires for that short time! I made many lifelong friends, learnt much about the culture, ate loads of delicious food, saw unforgettable sights and made the most special memories. Grateful, honoured, privileged, AND CAN'T WAIT TO DO IT AGAIN!
Wow, what an amazing way to travel, just finished a trip to Belize with Noma and couldn’t be happier…had the best local team manager that help me find the best experiences and handled any question I had. Will continue traveling with this company, complete no brainer way to see the world!
Had an amazing time - Leo the community manager was very knowledgable and showed us all the best spots in Barcelona! I feel very grateful to have had such an amazing experience.
I just finished the fall Barcelona chapter. Visiting outside peak tourist season made the experience even more special, and Leo was a phenomenal local guide who was so fun, warm and welcoming and knowledgeable about all the best spots and activities. While this location was on the higher end compared to other Noma options, it was well worth the splurge. Highly recommend booking this trip in the future (or any other chapter you can find where Leo is hosting)!
I had a great month in Barcelona. The accommodation was excellent — the master bedroom had a large closet and balcony, and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Having laundry in the unit was also really convenient. Our local guide, Leo was wonderful throughout the trip. She introduced us to some great local restaurants, organized fun activities, and made sure we were able to see and do everything on our bucket lists. She was sooo thoughtful and checked in with us regularly. Overall, it was a great experience!
My trip with Noma in Barcelona was fantastic! Our local trip manager, Leo, was absolutely amazing. She did so much for us: finding great restaurants to accommodate everyone's different diets/preferences, taking us all on day trips to Montserrat, Barcelonta, the arc de triomf-- always sending Google map links with directions. She also put on a self love class, came to yoga with us, and took us on a side quest to Palamos for a weekend. Above all she was very caring and invested in all of us and was always responsive if we needed anything. Although I've been on other digital nomad trips/groups, this was the best one by far. The accommodations were much better than any other I've had with a nomad group and having Leo there, with her knowledge of the area and all the great spots, to plan and help was priceless.
I just finished my first NOMA Collective experience in Barcelona, and while I went in with no expectations, I can confidently say it exceeded everything I could’ve imagined, largely thanks to our incredible community manager, Leonora. Leo made every day unforgettable with her thoughtful recommendations, endless list of activities, and the best local food spots. More than that, her outgoing and fun-loving energy brought everyone together and made the entire month feel like traveling with an old friend. I was nervous about traveling solo and meeting new people, but Leo’s warmth and leadership made it one of the best experiences I could ask for. Barcelona was beautiful, but the community she created made it truly special.
I just finished the Japan edition with them and it was a blast! From the group they got together, to our incredible community manager Dillon who went above and beyond to help us with everything from reservations to navigating the Japan way of doing things and even helping us find restaurants that accommodated everyone’s dietary restrictions. I truly enjoyed this experience, the fact that they plan spaces with coworking areas, the fact that the group is eager to work/explore so there’s no need to feel guilty about having to work. Even with some hiccups around accommodations and expectations, they still moved quickly to respond and find ways to make it work. Overall one of the greatest experiences ever. I will definitely plan another trip!
I loved my japan edition. I already booked my 2nd one, for guatemala
I’ve really enjoyed my experiences with Noma Collective. The format, the community, and the workspaces we get to be in make it such a great experience. Being surrounded by other like-minded people who are also working creates constant motivation and support. You end up learning so many travel tips and insights from other nomads—it’s a life-changing experience for sure. It also makes it so easy to just show up without having to do all the legwork of finding somewhere to stay and work, with the added bonus of a community of amazing people to meet and connect with—many of whom become lifelong friends and travel companions from all over the world. Of course, there are always adjustments when traveling to another country, but the Noma Team along with the community directors go above and beyond to make the transition as seamless and enjoyable as possible. It’s a one-of-a-kind way to work, connect, and explore the world with purpose and community.

I just wrapped up my second trip with Noma, and I can confidently say they’ve set the bar for remote work travel. Every location has been safe, comfortable, and reliable—with strong Wi-Fi and thoughtfully chosen accommodations that make working from anywhere genuinely enjoyable. What really makes Noma special, though, is the people. Juan has been my community manager on both trips, and he’s exceptional—organized without being rigid, approachable without ever seeming stressed, and always striking the perfect balance between group activities and downtime. You can tell he genuinely cares about creating a great experience for everyone. After 3.5 years as a digital nomad, I can honestly say Noma has provided the best sense of community and social connection I’ve found anywhere. Traveling with them feels like joining a group of friends who just get it—and I can’t wait for the next trip.
✨ Panama Edition – September 2025 ✨ I chose this experience because I love nature and hoped it would feel similar to the Kenya trip I did - and it didn’t disappoint! Just like in Kenya, nature was all around us: a crab in the printer, monkeys howling at night, birds stealing food… and honestly, I loved every moment of it. What I enjoyed most at the hotel were the swimming pool, communal kitchen, eco domes, all the animals around, and of course the proximity to the beach. The Wi-Fi was good enough for me to work (with occasional challenges, which I think is to be expected in a setting like this). My favorite activities included ATVs, the Filthy Friday party, community dinners, donut buddies, and grocery hopping. And I have to give a huge shoutout to our Community Manager, Juan. I’ve done seven of these program trips, and he was hands down the best - empathetic, helpful, and so organized. He really made us all feel supported, and that made a big difference. I’d love to see Noma do more “deep nature” destinations like this one. I know these aren’t for everyone, so it’s important that the listing sets clear expectations - e.g. no AC and spotty Wi-Fi. Personally, I was fine with those inconveniences, but transparency helps make sure the right people choose these experiences. Finally, I want to say that I absolutely loved our group - such amazing energy and people. That said, I did notice that a few individuals were disappointed about the lack of AC, so setting expectations clearly upfront would help avoid that.
I went on the Bocas Del Toro, Panama trip with Noma in September! It was an amazing adventure spending time in the jungle and I was grateful to have Juan, our community manager, to guide us throughout the trip! He showed us what to do, what wasn’t worth our money and acted quickly when times called for action. The eco domes were awesome, gave an yurt feel and it was one of the factors to me deciding on this trip - of course all the beautiful beaches, nature, great weather were major attractions too. We rode ATVs, swam with bioluminescent plankton, sailed through the Caribbean Sea … what more could you want?
I was in the Panamá Edition on 2025, I chose this experience because I wanted to explore different local cultures around the world, I liked Bocas Del Toro because in was safe, walkable, and affordable, what I most enjoyed from the hotel/apartment was unique design and beautiful nature but I’d recommend strong bug repellent, and a portable fan. lol …My favorite activities were sailing on the water, breakfast cafe del mar, and dancing at Filthy Friday. I also wanted to say something about my CM Juan who was AMAZING! He was on top of it! He was quick to solve problems and included us in planning the experience we wanted to have! Juan is a very kindhearted, knowledgeable, and FUN! He was the best! The experience would not have been the same without him! Our community manager, Leo, was absolutely phenomenal during our time in Barcelona, Spain 2025 edition! 🌞 From the start, she was warm, welcoming, and made everyone feel included so no one ever felt left out. She handled any accommodation issues quickly and with such professionalism, always ensuring our comfort came first. Her restaurant and drink spot choices were top-notch—every meal felt like a new discovery of Barcelona’s charm. Thanks to her care, responsiveness, and great energy, our group had an unforgettable and seamless experience. Highly recommend!
I was on the Bocas Del Toro edition with Noma and it was amazing! I loved the beautiful greenery staying at Nowhere, the beach views were iconic, and the food was fantastic. The group went on several activities together where you were able to bond and build connections with others. My favorite was a bioluminescence night boat tour/snorkeling adventure. It wouldn't have been the same experience without our community manager, Juan. He was extremely kind and helpful throughout the edition with responding to any inquiry within a few minutes. I also went on the Barcelona Noma trip. It was a wonderful experience! The accommodations were great with a full kitchen and a great location with a quick metro station a few minutes away. The community manager, Leo, was absolutely phenomenal. She was extremely kind and understanding with handling any issues I had quickly. She also had the best restaurant recommendations! Definitely recommend both trips!
This was my first experience with Noma Collective and it was absolutely amazing. I loved everything about Bocas del Toro. The views, culture, food and people were 10 out of 10. I miss the greenery and natural beauty already but not the mosquitos 😅 I don't think my trip would have been as phenomenal as it was, if I didn't have Juan as our community manager. Juan was incredibly kind and resourceful! From everything to his food suggestions to helping me find a place to fix my broken laptop, he was there to help every step of the way. If you have been thinking of booking a trip, go for it. It is an epic experience.
I just spent a month at Noma Collective in Oaxaca, Mexico for my first Noma experience and honestly, it was amazing. The place is beautiful and so comfy! Hotel-level beds and pillows, weekly cleaning, a fully equipped kitchen, and WiFi that never dropped once. Roxy, the community manager, is an absolute legend. She’s super organized, kind, and somehow keeps everything running smoothly. She was there for everything, joined in on all the fun, and made the whole experience feel so welcoming. Honestly, she’s a huge part of why the community felt like home. Speaking of community, it’s awesome. There’s a Slack group with channels for foodies, adventure, photography, basically anything you can think of, so it’s super easy to find someone to hang out with. During my stay, they ran a tax skillshare, pizza-making session, speakeasy night, games, and even moon circles, so much fun! Everything is run really professionally and it’s totally worth it. If you can work remotely for a month, I can’t recommend this enough. Noma takes care of literally everything – you just show up, work, connect, and take it all in :)
Noma is absolutely incredible. If you’re a digital nomad looking for community, fun events, and built-in friends, this is the place!! After three years of solo travel, I joined my first Noma trip in Mexico—and I loved it so much that I booked another just a few months later in Brazil. The friendships I made feel lifelong, and the sense of connection is real. The events are diverse and tailored: community-led activities, group dinners, hikes, workshops—there’s truly something for everyone. Plus, once you join, you’re part of the alumni network, so the connections continue long after your trip. Everything about the experience is thoughtfully done: the food is great, the community is diverse yet like-minded, and with each additional trip the benefits (and pricing) get even better. You will not regret it. I met so many people that take 2-4 Noma trips a year and never run out of amazing things to say about the community. If you’re debating it—take the plunge. Trips sell out quickly for a reason, and once you experience it, you’ll fall in love with the Noma community. If you are reading this now, I can't wait for you to join and see you in the alumni community!
Went on a trip to Sri Lanka with Noma Collective and it was excellent! Khazim was our community manager. He was knowledgeable and made me feel greatly cared for in his country. Highly recommend!
I had a great experience with Noma Collective in Sri Lanka. We stayed by the beach in Weligama in a co-living space, which made it easy to plan working hours and fun. As a group we explored the beach towns near Weligama and traveled upcountry to Ella and Sigiriya. Thank you, Khazim and team for a fun trip!
Khazim is a wonderful community manager. He’s so helpful and I felt very cared for by him. He knows so many people in the area and made everything go smoothly. Noma Collective is so lucky to have him on their team! I had a fantastic experience and look forward to taking another trip with Noma Collective!
Awesome CM the bro Khazim ✨✨✨🙏🏾
I just completed two Noma trips in Himalaya India and then Sri Lanka, both wonderful experiences. Noma manages to attract a diverse group of digital nomad travelers from around the world, and puts together a variety of opt-in events with a nice balance of structure vs flexibility to match different travel styles. I made a several new friends, and got a chance to live in a very different part of the world, while getting my work done when I needed to. Anisa and Khazim the two program coordinators were both very good, socially with the group and also with getting things done via local know-how. Great programs!
I joined Noma Collective in Dharamkot, India during their July program, and the experience was absolutely incredible. Anisa, our community coordinator, was a true standout — prompt, inclusive, and incredibly easygoing. Despite a full calendar of events, she made everything feel effortless and unhurried. The community vibe she cultivated was warm, well-organized, and deeply human. This was my second time doing a work-travel program (first was with Hacker Paradise), and Noma brought a unique balance of structure and freedom. The group attracted mission-driven solo travelers and remote professionals, and the energy was collaborative without being overwhelming. If you’re a solo traveler or remote worker looking to plug into a vibrant, well-curated global community without sacrificing productivity or peace of mind, I highly recommend Noma Collective.
Fantastic way to explore the world and meet other like-minded digital nomads. The coworking spaces are reliable and the itinerary of activities is varied, so there is something for everyone. I particularly loved our community mangager Anisa in the Himalaya Edition, she was the glue that kept us all together! Very friendly, organised, and knowledgable.
You will probably experience the best month of your life. And will get unforgettable memories and experiences. Highly recommend!
I recently joined the Noma expedition in Buenos Aires and I have nothing but absolutely glowing things to say about this experience. Over the course of the month I built meaningful connections with others on the trip and our wonderful host, Vani. Buenos Aires is a fantastic city to explore and live for an experience like this Noma trip. Vani is from Buenos Aires and provided near daily recommendations for local spots, from lovely cafes to cool bars, restaurants and activities. She also organized many formal and informal group activities and made sure everyone in the group was included and getting involved in exploring the city! While we did not encounter any major issues during our trip, the little things that inevitably came up were promptly dealt with in a professional manner by both Vani and Noma. Overall I would highly recommend anyone interested in a Noma trip book a consultation to learn more about the experience. It was truly a month I will remember forever. Thank you Vannie and the Nona team!
Well organized and wonderful new friends
I joined Noma for the May 2025 expedition to Ibiza. It was absolutely perfect and confirmed I will definitely do Noma trips in the future, perhaps once/year. One thing that distinguishes Noma is their use of local guides. Tilly was our guide in Ibiza, and she curated a month of activities and experiences that I never would have been able to replicate through online research or random recommendations. Plus, she had all the right advice for how to live life as a local in Ibiza. Highly recommend!
I had the most incredible experience with Noma Collective in Ibiza. The energy, the people, the setting, everything was thoughtfully curated and genuinely inspiring. From day one, I felt part of a community of creative, open-minded individuals who were all there to connect, grow, and have a great time.
Noma organized a great trip for our group. It was an easy experience and everything went very smoothly. Our guide Vani was also extremely helpful throughout our trip.
My time in Buenos Aires with Noma Collective was a trip beyond my wildest dreams! Noma (and especially our amazing Community Manager Vani!) kept things running smoothly, coordinated fun nighttime activities such as tango night, soccer night, Asado class, art class to name a few. I got to connect with more with others, while also having someone to help with trip coordination made the experience that much better and easier to manage. Can’t wait for my next Noma experience!!!
I loved my time in Mexico City! Roxy was a fantastic host, super knowledgeable about the city and ready to help with anything that came up, including injuries and illness! I would recommend this trip to anyone looking for a top notch month in an amazing international location!
My trip to Oaxaca with NOMA Collective was absolutely incredible! The team created the perfect balance of community, cultural immersion, and productivity. We stayed at Outsite, which was the ideal home base — comfortable rooms, a full kitchen for cooking, weekly housekeeping, and even laundry on site. From exploring Oaxaca’s vibrant food and art scene to connecting with an inspiring community, everything was thoughtfully planned. Oaxaca is such a magical city, and experiencing it with NOMA made it even more special. Highly recommend!
Noma Collective was more than just a trip — it was a full experience. The people I met felt like instant connections, and the energy of the group made everything feel effortless and fun. I loved the mix of activities — from yoga to day trips to just hanging out and having real conversations. Tilly was a fantastic host — always thoughtful, organized, and tuned in to what the group needed. Every day brought something new, and I left feeling inspired, grateful, and recharged. I’m already looking forward to my next adventures with Noma Collective.
Had a fantastic experience trying out my first digital nomad trip with Noma! Sarah did such a great job coordinating all the logistics of working and having fun activities, and made sure everyone felt included and cared for
I went on Noma's excursion to Placencia, Belize. This was my first time trying a digital nomad trip, and I couldn't be more pleased with it. It went super well. Placencia was beautiful and relaxing. The resort we stayed in, Umaya, was gorgeous. The extra activities were great, too, including boating and snorkeling, a cave tour, and various noma family dinners. Our on site community manager, Sarah, went above and beyond to not only help us with any questions or activity logistics, but also to engage with us as a friend. Thanks for everything, Sarah! I am looking forward to my next trip with Noma!
My time in Belize with Noma Collective was unforgettable. Placencia was beautiful, and the local community was so warm and welcoming. Big shoutout to Sarah, our community manager. She was warm, helpful, and made the whole experience even better.
I would recommend Noma. Our host was so friendly, helpful, and such a planner. We stayed in Buenos Aires, and we had so much to do with Noma as they constantly put on events or gave us great local recommendations. It would have been such a pain to try to navigate the language and cultural differences on our own.
I had an amazing time in Buenos Aires with Noma Collective, especially with Vani as our local community manager. Highly recommend booking a trip with them, you’ll definitely have a great time.
Went to Buenos Aires for the month of May with Noma Collective and loved it! Vani planned some great events for us to attend, such as an authentic Asado experience, a soccer game, and more! Having a local with us was so helpful for restaurant and bar recommendations! Can't wait to go again in the future!
Noma did an incredible job from start to finish with the trip. We all had an amazing time and everything ran very smoothly. Special shoutout to Vani for being such a great host and point of contact throughout. She did a wonderful job checking in on everyone and was extremely friendly and added so much to the experience. Would highly recommend Noma to anyone thinking of working abroad!
Such a wonderful experience in Belize with Sarah as our Community Manager!! I was hesitant about the group travel at first, but this trip exceeded my expectations. Sarah was so welcoming, friendly, and accommodating; I feel like she set the tone for everyone to have an amazing experience! Thanks Sarah & Noma for an amazing 3 weeks in Belize :)
The Belize edition is the was absolutely sensational, offering the perfect balance of productivity and relaxation. The community manager Sarah really made this experience one to remember, from being the first friendly face on our arrival, to showing us the local hotspots and consistently providing valuable advice and recommendations, right until our departure, we always had something to do and there was never a dull moment. Sarahs vibrant energy and down to earth nature was the center of our group and contributed to making Belize feel like a home. Not only did the group think she was amazing but every local we asked spoke nothing but good about her, making us feel like we are in safe hands. Really going to miss her along with the rest on the group and of course the peaceful town of Placencia ❤️
Wonderful stay in Mexico City! Many thanks to Roxy for all the guidance and recommendations for where to eat and what to do.
I had such a wonderful experience going on the Buenos Aires edition through Noma Collective! This group helps takes the stress out of planning activities, meeting new people, and finding a productive place to work. I had been wanting to try a group trip remote work trip and am so grateful for Noma for providing a great first experience!
Had an amazing time in Porto! Isa and Carolina did a great job organizing activities and taking care of everything! Would absolutely recommend signing up for a trip with these amazing facilitators 😍
Really wonderful experience exploring Porto!
Had a great experience with Noma in Porto, made some amazing new friendships while strengthening some old ones! The accommodations were nice and in a good location, and it was such a fun group. Isabelle and Carolina were also amazing trip coordinators! They made everything so smooth and were always there to help.
First NOMA trip, first time in Porto. Wow what an experience! It felt like a year’s worth of memories packed into just one month. Discovered I am a nomad at heart on this trip. It was super seamless to jump into any co-created plans using the Slack App… there is always something going on! If you want to do your own thing that is perfectly cool too; the Porto locals are the best of the best. The onsite facilitators knew exactly what they were doing... We had some fantastic day and night get togethers (not to mention the weekend excursions). We took over the Music room, the co-working space, the Event space, and the Pool space during the month. The onsite management was super chill with our shenanigans – saying “This never happens!” A truly epic time in Porto. Wish I could post all my pics, but some things will stay in Porto! Sorry.
Fantastic trip to Porto with a wonderful group
I had a fantastic time with Noma in Porto. The group was great, and the Outsite we stayed at had everything I needed to be comfy and get my work done. But the best part was our facilitators! Carolina and Isa made sure our time in Porto was fun-filled and low-stress. They had great local recommendations and organized lots of group activities — from cooking classes to cocktail bars. 5/5 experience.
I had a wonderful time being a local community manager in porto with noma collective!
I attended the Buenos Aires and Peru editions and Vani & Angel were incredible community managers! You can tell they really care about delivering an incredible cultural experience. The accommodations were nice and the planned activities were so fun. I met people on these trips that I’ll stay close to for awhile!
I participated in the Lima edition in March 2025. While I started this journey with much apprehension, the immediate care with which my concerns were addressed and the encouragement from the Noma team was something I will always be grateful for. Spending 3 weeks with some cool people in a new place and being led by two stellar Community Managers (hi Angel and Juan!) was exactly the adventure I didn't know I needed. There was a nice balance that prioritized my work life, but allowed for flexibility and loads of options to opt-in/out of activities. In addition to the scheduled activities, Angel and Juan were a wealth of knowledge for local attractions and very helpful in suggesting alternative options for the times I wanted to explore on my own. Having wanted to travel to Peru for a long time, I couldn't have asked for a more fulfilling experience! Somehow it exceeded anything I anticipated and I highly recommend this edition. You won't regret it! Happy nomading! :)
This past March, I completed my first Noma edition after returning to the digital nomad lifestyle following a year-long break. The experience reignited my love for this incredible community of driven adventurers—people who share a deep desire to explore the world while growing both personally and professionally. What truly made this journey unforgettable was the people I had the privilege of traveling with. Exploring new places is always exciting, but sharing those experiences with like-minded individuals from all walks of life adds a whole new level of meaning. I’m especially grateful to my community managers, Angel and Juan, whose warmth, authenticity, and dedication made this experience so special. My time in Lima was unforgettable, and I look forward to creating even more memories with Noma and the incredible team members that make it all possible. Safe travels friends!
Juan and Angel were fantastic hosts for Peru! From Machu Picchu to salsa dancing to daily working and sharing community together I had a fantastic experience and knew they would always go above and beyond to bring us the best of what Lima and Cusco had to offer while building lasting friendships 🙏🏻💕
I had an incredible experience during my time at the Lima Edition in March 2025, and a huge part of that was thanks to the amazing community managers, Angel and Juan. Both of them went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and that we felt supported and connected throughout the experience. They dedicated a lot of time to planning and organizing thoughtful events that brought the community together. I remember casually mentioning karaoke one day, and Angel immediately jumped into action to make that event happen. Their genuine care and proactive attitude made a huge difference.
I had the most incredible time in Argentina, creating lifelong memories and making friends for life! The communication with Vani, the host of the trip, was extremely helpful. I had some anxiety before travelling, but she was always quick to respond and went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable. Her bubbly personality truly made the trip unforgettable. A shoutout to the driver too who was so welcoming after my long flight😅 The accommodation had everything you could need, and it offered a great sense of community with the working space. Even after the trip, I’m still in touch with lots of the wonderful people I met. It was an experience I’ll forever be grateful for🫶🏻
Had an amazing experience with Noma Collective in Belize! The perfect balance of work and adventure, with incredible excursions. Our guide, Sarah, was funny, knowledgeable, and always had the best recommendations! She made the trip seamless. Thank you!
I had an amazing trip with NOMA! Vani was the best, I will need to visit Buenos Aires again. Great group of people, excellent choice of events and activities truly unforgettable, thank you NOMA!
I had the best time on Noma’s Belize edition in February. The accommodations were great. Super spacious with stunning views and direct access to the beach. Who wouldn’t want to live at a resort for a month? The excursions were well planned and the ideal mix of adventure (hiking to waterfalls) and relaxation (island hopping). What made the month truly unforgettable was the community. I met so many people I would’ve never otherwise crossed paths with and now consider them close friends. Special shout out to our community manger Sarah. I’m not sure what we would have done without her local insight, planning skills, and ✨sparkling✨ personality.
What an extraordinary experience. I did a Buenos Aires trip. So well organized, and full of people who had an amazing attitude and were great to travel with. Our local organizer put together activities throughout the week that matched the kinds of things people new to a city wanted to do. The organization also puts together a really cool crew of travelers. I highly recommend one of their trips to travelers who love new experiences and love meeting new people.
My experience with Noma Collective in Belize was nothing short of amazing! From the moment I arrived, I was surrounded by a welcoming community of like-minded remote workers, stunning views, and the perfect balance of relaxation and productivity. The co-working spaces were top-notch, and the connections I made were truly invaluable. A huge shoutout to Sarah, who was not only an incredible tour guide but an all-around amazing human. Her energy, knowledge, and passion made every adventure unforgettable—whether it was exploring hidden gems, learning about the culture, or simply sharing laughs along the way. She made this trip even more special, and I couldn’t have asked for a better guide! Too many more with Noma!
I had such an amazing time with Noma in Belize! The accommodations were beautiful and in the perfect location- we had the beach right across the street, delicious restaurants in walking/biking distance, and Placencia a short drive away with free shuttle to and from everyday. I loved getting to know everyone in my group and left with friends that I know I will see again. I also wanted to give a very special shout-out to our community manager in Belize- Sarah. Sarah was absolutely amazing, she helped plan additional dinners and activities with the group. I feel like I was able to get even more from my experience because of Sarah’s expertise in all things Belize, especially in Placencia since she also lives there. Sarah was thoughtful, caring, and such a fun person to get to know! I’m so glad she was our community manager and hope to see her again too! Can’t wait for my next Noma experience.
I had a lot of fun on the Pipa, Brazil addition. Our community manager, Melissa, was professional, knowledgeable, and organized. It was great mix between play and work. Highly recommend the Pipa edition. This was my 4th noma trip, and definitely won’t be my last one. Cheers!
Incredible all around! Our guide Mariana was so helpful. Pipa and mirante were a dream, I can’t wait to go back.
Spent three amazing weeks with them in Pipa. Our community manager, Mariana made the whole trip so special.
Great people, strong WiFi, pipa and our trip host Marianna was amazing! Pipa maybe challenging for customer facing roles as cowork had music starting from 2pm EST but overall incredible people incredible trip would recommend and will not be my last noma trip
With Noma you can travel, meet people, immerse in a new culture and have fun!! All that with a nice inveronment to get your work done!! Nothing to worry about, it is all organized by Noma!! 😊
I’m writing this review after my second trip with Noma in 2 months. I spent my first edition with Noma at their flagship location, Placencia, Belize, in December 2024 with a fantastic group of people. The accommodations at Umaya Resort were comfortable, with great views of the lagoon and ocean on either side of the property, and provided strong WiFi connection for most of the trip with a few exceptions, which they worked hard to resolve for us once we let them know we were having issues. We had housekeeping twice a week, and our suites came equipped with the essentials we needed to make it our home away from home for 3 weeks. Our community manager, Sarah, was a gem and made sure our group got the best out of our time — she went above and beyond to ensure we were exposed to the culture, community, and vibes of Placencia, even with the uncontrollable late-season rain we experienced for most of the trip. One of the highlights of my time was attending the Mistletoe Ball, a chance for us to dress up, wear fun masks, and celebrate the holidays with the locals. Placencia is a slower-paced town, which is best for people looking to relax and unwind. Still, Sarah provided great tips and insight into the hidden gems around the peninsula for those looking for fun nightlife and adventure with their relaxation. If you’re considering joining a Placencia edition, I encourage you to plan your own adventure and explore other parts of Belize. During my edition, I spent a few days in San Pedro (Ambergris Caye) and had a great time. A few days after leaving Placencia, I joined a Noma Side Quest in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, for a week to bring in the new year. Side quests are a great way to explore a city in a shorter time and allow Noma alums to make their own journey and experience the city however they like. We had one day of Noma-curated events (New Year’s Eve), but otherwise, the week was our own to curate. We stayed in a beautiful 3-story vintage-style mansion in the Santa Teresa area with a pool, plenty of places for coworking, and unparalleled scenic views of the city. On New Year’s Eve, Noma hired a Brazilian chef to prepare a 4-course meal for our group, and later, we were transported to Copacabana Beach to a reserved spot for our group to party and bring in the new year. We danced on the beach to Funk carioca, reggae, soca, and hip hop, drank too many Caipirinhas, watched the fireworks, and jumped the waves together at midnight. Overall, I had a fantastic time with Noma on both trips, and I encourage anyone on the fence about joining a Noma edition to take the plunge. I met great people, made lifelong friends, and had unforgettable experiences, and I look forward to my next edition.
I had an amazing experience with Noma Collective for my first trip with them and probably not my last. The accommodation in Placencia, Belize were very nice and wifi was great for working from. Also our Community Manager Sarah did an amazing job organizing all events, making sure we were always taken care of, and spreading her positive attitude to our group at all times. Overall great 3 weeks in Belize with Noma.
I recently had the incredible opportunity to join a Noma Collective trip to Buenos Aires, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The vibrant city, the perfectly curated itinerary, and the amazing community made this trip truly exceptional. A huge shoutout to Vani, our community manager, who went above and beyond to ensure that every detail of our stay was seamless. From planning immersive cultural activities to hosting engaging social events, Vani’s energy and dedication were unparalleled. She has a knack for blending structure and flexibility, giving us the chance to explore Buenos Aires authentically while still feeling supported. Whether it was coordinating a stunning tango night, guiding us through the best hidden spots in the city, or simply making sure everyone felt included, Vani excelled at creating an environment where connections flourished, and memories were made. Her passion for the city and the community was infectious, and it was evident in every experience she crafted. I can’t recommend the Noma Collective enough, especially if you’re lucky enough to have someone as talented as Vani managing the experience. This trip was the perfect mix of adventure, connection, and discovery. I’ll definitely be joining another Noma Collective journey soon! Thank you, Noma Collective, and thank you, Vani, for making Buenos Aires unforgettable!
Had a great time in Panama and Juan was an absolutely amazing guide/host. Highly recommend if you want a digital nomad experience that's a little more intimate and secluded.
Very good experience with the Panama edition! I met such good people, location was really beautiful. It is really a good organisation, I recommand and surely do another edition with Noma in the future! Thanks to our community manager, Juan, who made it ever more unforgettable. 🙂
Where to begin! Everything about our time in Guatemala was incredible. The housing was really beautiful, in a great location, and the apartments had everything we needed. Antigua itself is an amazing place to live as it's so charming with tons of coffee shops to work from and lots of things to do, plus just a gorgeous place to be, surrounded by volcanoes. But what really made the trip so special was our community manager, Leo! From the moment we arrived she was so welcoming and made us all feel right at home. She is a master planner and we got to go on tons of excursions and do fun local activities like dinners, workshops, and salsa classes. And she has a magnetic energy! Incredibly warm, vibrant, and all around just an amazing person to be around. Our group connected extremely well and we were all fast friends throughout the trip. Could not recommend this chapter enough, I can't wait to go back!
I had an amazing experience on my first Noma edition in Antigua, Guatemala. I met the best people and had so much fun. Our group did not stop laughing for the entire 3 weeks. Our community manager, Leo, was incredible. She was organized, energetic, and so positive in every situation. Leo flawlessly planned everything for the whole trip, from transportation to dinner reservations at the best restaurants. Everything was taken care of and all I had to worry about was finishing my work day. I can't wait to go on my next Noma edition!
I had the most incredible time on the Noma Antigua edition. I fell in love with Guatemala and Noma lol This was my first Noma trip and I will 100% do another one. The people I met were amazing and I made life long friends. Huge shoutout to Leo the community manager. She was seriously the best. She went above and beyond. She organized the best schedule for us and always made sure we were all taken care of. I don’t know where that woman gets her energy from hahaha. The only con was that I wish it would have been longer!
I went to Watamu, Kenya for 3 weeks with Noma and it was incredible! We were 10 people, which I think is the perfect amount of people to make the trip enjoyable but not overwhelming. Ivy the community manager, and everyone who we interacted from the Noma team both in Kenya and online were so kind and helpful. If you're starting your digital nomad journey and don't want to do it by yourself I totally recommend you check the trips that Noma has around the world!
Noma - Antigua, Guatemala 2024 edition! My first ever group & digital nomad trip, and definitely not the last! I could not be happier with this trip and our community manager Leo, who made it a smooth, organised and incredibly enjoyable experience! Leo is such a kind, fun, welcoming & supportive person & she has become a good friend over these 3 weeks. She truly cares about everyone being comfortable, and having the best time and curated the experiences with that in mind. Any future editions will be so lucky to have Leo! What made this trip unforgettable was all the lovely people I met! & we shared soooo many fun, sometimes challenging and magical experiences together (miss u guys!)! I thoroughly enjoyed all the planned activities, which there were plenty of! What a joy to have it all organised and in place, so all I had to do was turn up! :) I only wish I had MORE time in Guatemala!!
I spent the last three weeks in antigua with noma. i was immersed in adventure and meaningful connections with incredible people. the trip was thoughtfully curated, from exploring lake atitlán to hiking the volcanoes fuego and acatenango, venturing through nature reserves, dancing in salsa classes, and gathering for family-style dinners. i feel deeply grateful for this journey and for leo our community manager, who went above and beyond to reveal the magic of antigua and build a real sense of community.
The trip was fantastic and all of the activities were impeccably organized. The attention to detail and care was top-tier. Kudos to Leo!
Leo has been such a great person! She helped us with everything we needed and is an amazing planner,?everything on this trip was so well dkne. I had an incredible time in Guatemala, and all the places we visited were fantastic! I'm look I for the next trip with Noma.
I recently went on the Costa Rica trip with Noma, and it was unforgettable! Honestly, the only thing that could have made it better was a longer stay. This was my first experience working remotely while traveling abroad, and Noma made everything feel effortless. The accommodations were comfortable and had everything I needed to settle in and be productive—it truly felt like home. Having a private workspace and an extra monitor was a game-changer! The itinerary struck a perfect balance, giving us a taste of all that Costa Rica has to offer. Some excursions were challenging, but they made it all the more rewarding to embrace the energy of Costa Rica. What really made the trip special, though, was our community manager, Javi. He went out of his way to add extra activities tailored to our interests, which made everything feel so much more personal. Javi’s positive, thoughtful, and knowledgeable approach brought our group together like family. All in all, it was an amazing experience, and I’ll keep recommending it to everyone I know!
I recently went on the Costa Rica edition and WOW was it amazing 🤩 The accommodations are beautiful, modern, and perfectly situated by the most beautiful beach. Our community manager, Javi, was so so kind, caring, and always ready to help us have the best time. ONDA is such a nice property in playa grande. The staff were so sweet and friendly! There were also so many lovely dogs visiting the property which added to the charm and made each day exciting for me. The best part of all was the amazing community we created in the 3 weeks we were there together. I’m so happy to have found such authentic and genuine friendships. Very excited for future trips with NOMA!
This was my first NOMA Experience, and first time in Costa Rica. Wow, what an amazing three weeks it was! Chill beach vibes, amazing off the beaten track location and a fantastic group of digital nomads. Well worth the experience and I look forward to visiting more NOMA locations in the future! Also, can't say enough positive things about Javi, the community manager. His local knowledge was invaluable in so many ways not only to me but to the community as a whole. Truly an asset to the NOMA experience. Belize....is that you calling my name next?
Absolutely loved my experience with Noma Collective's Costa Rica Edition! The setup was seamless, and the vibe was incredible thanks to the welcoming community and dedicated staff. Javi, our community manager, was always available and very knowledgeable—ready to help in any way possible to make sure we had what we needed and got to enjoy all the experiences we were interested in. This included organizing and joining us on a trip to watch sea turtles nest and hatch on a beach 2 hours away! Danielle, the head of sales, brought contagious energy and enthusiasm to every activity, which made the entire experience even better. The team at Onda truly went above and beyond; their attention to detail and hard work made every day enjoyable and stress-free. And I’m so grateful for all the other remote workers I met and to be apart of the Noma community. It was such a well-run program and genuinely worth it!
I went on the Costa Rica edition with Noma this October. It was truly an amazing experience. The people hosting were amazing and the activities were lots of fun. I want to give a special shout-out to our community manager, Javi. I was a little nervous going to a place I've never been before, but having Javi there, I just knew I was taken care of all along the way. He was super welcoming and responsive to my asks, and also just a fun person! On the first day, I needed a sim card. Although I replied late, he still managed to get me a sim card and helped me set up. I also asked for a desk in the room, and he got one moved to my room the same day. His ceviche teaching class was one of my top highlights on this trip. He organized many fun activities for us and connected us with the local community. Javi truly made my Costa Rica experience with NOMA a warming one. Thank you Javi and NOMA!
I had an amazing experience with Noma in Costa Rica, would 100% recommend!! So many elements of this experience were 10/10 — the incredible location, great accommodations, and most of all, the community. The trip had a great mix of structured events and flexibility to do your own thing, and I absolutely loved Playa Grande + the corner of Costa Rica we got to explore. I also can’t say enough good things about the community manager, Javi. He went above and beyond to make the trip the best it could be for every single person on our trip, all the while being so chill, friendly, and engaged with all of us. Thank you Javi, the team at Onda, and Noma for an amazing 3 weeks 🤩
The only thing that could have improved my Costa Rica experience would have been a longer stay. It was my first time traveling and working remotely, and Noma made it effortless. The accommodations had everything needed to feel at home and work comfortably. The well-thought-out itinerary included a diverse range of activities. Our community manager, Javi, went above and beyond, adding extra activities based on the group’s interests and requests. I was grateful to have such a cheerful, thoughtful, and knowledgeable community manager who truly brought the group together. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and I can’t wait to return!
I found Noma Collective through an IG ad last year (I guess you could say Noma found me) and I had been wanting to travel but was worried about doing it on my own. I took the leap and registered for their first Lisbon edition in March 2024 and I’m SO happy I did. Approaching the end of 2024 and I’ve now been on the Barcelona edition and am headed to Pipa next month. The internal team consists of INCREDIBLY kind humans that have a love of travel, community, wellness and social impact which are four values of mine. Lisbon was my starting point of becoming a full time digital nomad and without them, I’m not sure I would’ve had the confidence to venture on my own but here we are eights months later still abroad. They make the experience seamless and proactively curate the trip to ensure you see all the hidden gems in each location. They are also very accommodating to adjust to each persons travel style and inclusive creating a comfortable atmosphere. Noma trips are some of the most fun experiences I’ve had in my life and you’re surrounded by a super encouraging community that knows how to work hard and play harder. I’ve made lots of connections and good friends that I’ve now traveled with outside of Noma and that wasn’t something I was expecting—very grateful that Noma creates a space for people to truly explore and do what they love. Highly recommend x10000 ❤️
This was one of my favorite trips ever! Noma made my dream come true of traveling to one of my bucket list places, Costa Rica, and being able to work remotely, experience Costa Rica surf, yoga, dancing, people, food, and experiences, and do it in community with great people. Our community manager, Javi, is truly one of a kind and was incredibly kind, personable, and attentive. He really made the trip what it was and then some. I’m so grateful for him, Noma, and all the amazing people I met on this unforgettable trip! Also, Danielle, head of sales, was incredibly helpful in answering all of my questions pre-booking. (: I would definitely do it again!
Working remotely from Belize with Noma was a fantastic experience. The Noma team were brilliant—friendly, helpful, and quick to make everyone feel settled in. It was easy to get into a good work rhythm, and I ended up meeting some great people from all around the world. The atmosphere was laid-back but productive, with a real mix of interesting people from various backgrounds. The weekends were amazing - trips to stunning islands nearby, volleyball, big group dinners etc. For anyone looking to work and travel, it’s a perfect balance – you get your work done, and there’s plenty to see and do outside of hours. Would definitely recommend it to anyone considering the same!
Leo was an absolutely fabulous community manager for the Barcelona edition. She was so organized and helpful, even sending recommendations before we arrived. I would sign up for another edition with Leo in a heartbeat!
Pipa was the BEST experience with Noma and something that made the experience even better was community manager, Melissa! So knowledgable on the area, super fun, kind and accommodating! She felt like a friend right when I met her and she enhanced the trip from beginning to end! ❤️
I just got back from my third noma trip in Barcelona! They've all been amazing but Barcelona was a really great city. Our community manager Leo was phenomenal at planning fun things for us to do the entire time!
My Barcelona trip with NOMA was unforgettable, thanks to the amazing host, Leo! Her detailed knowledge of the city and warm, friendly attitude made us feel like locals right away. The trip was perfectly paced, with a great balance of activities that gave us plenty of opportunities to bond and explore with fellow travelers. It was a fantastic experience all around! I highly recommend!
I can not begin to explain how amazing my experience with Noma was. It was transformative. Not only was the location, the people, the staff and the adventure world class, but it changed me. I became the person I wanted to be. The friendship continued as I begin to have the confidence in myself to travel and live the life that I wanted. So I wanted to give a big thanks to Dan, Calla, and the rest of the staff there. Truly appreciate all that ya'll have done for me. If you are on the fence of joining a group of like-minded people and having an experience that could change your life, then trust me when I say, just sign up and go...will be one of the best decisions you have made.
My time with Noma was wonderful. I left feeling full from experiences and new friendships. Thanks to everyone on the team for creating such a welcoming space.
I recently joined Noma Collective for their Costa Rica edition, and it was an amazing experience. Noma's expert curation of the trip blended work, leisure, and cultural immersion seamlessly. The sense of community and connection I felt with fellow digital nomads was deeply enriching. This Costa Rica edition was more than just a trip, it was a journey of making new friendships and experiencing personal growth. I highly recommend Noma Collective for anyone seeking a unique and fulfilling digital nomad experience. Look forward to my next adventure with this awesome community.
Noma was my first digital nomad group travel experience and I’m so glad I went with them. I joined the expedition to Belize and had an amazing time, the trip is perfectly curated for a nomad: organized but flexible. We had an amazing community manager: Sarah who lives and know Placencia like the back of her hand. It was nice having her support on the trip whenever anything went wrong. UPDATE: I booked my second trip with Noma to Guatemala!
If you’re waiting for a sign or a little push to get you to yes, here it is. You won’t regret making this decision. Living in Watamu, Kenya was transformational. Thank you Calla & Diane, beyond words
Wowwww!!!! What a spectacular experience. Loved my time in Belize with an absolutely incredible group of people, led by an amazing and thoughtful community manager, Sarah! 10/10 would do it again. Sarah was very helpful when we needed assistance and supportive when anything went wrong. She helped us grow as a group and was a warm, friendly face to have around. I would choose Noma Collective again if I get the chance.
I’ve been on 4 or 5 Noma trips and they’re always incredible. They handle logistics and planning for excursions, groups activities, and the trips are so worth it for the built in community. I’ve made long lasting connections and met some of my best friends through Noma. They do a great job supporting community and alumni-highly recommend!
We had an incredible experience with Noma Collective Family Edition at Umaya in Belie. Our young kids did full time summercamp and LOVED it -- incredible teachers, fun activities. The setting is gorgeous -- lagoon on one side and beach/pool on the other. Fun activities, events, awesome community. Very solid wifi (had a few tiny breaks in connection over the course of 3 weeks but I could do 6+ hours a day of zoom calls generally problem free)
The Noma Lisbon edition has been truly wonderful, filled with incredible novel experiences. We tasted the traditional food that lisbon had to offer, marveled at the atlantic at the edge of the western most point in europe, breathed in the history as the wind blew it in from the Tagus, and enjoyed music and drinks with the wonderfully open, kind-hearted people of Portugal. This experience would not have been possible without Noma, and in particular without our community manager and fearless leader for the month Pedro who went above and beyond to facilitate all of this. While a trip anywhere can be booked with ease, planting the seed of a transformative experience that grows into a cherished life long memory is another thing entirely, and I have to thank Noma and Pedro for their massive contributions to this month-long moment in time that will remain near and dear to my heart. I've been on two Noma trips so far with Panama being the most recent one. It's really hard to put the Noma experience into words, but I had an amazing time. Mariela was my community manager, and she did a great job. By the second week our group felt like family, and I even continued traveling with a few others after we left Panama. If you're on the fence, just do it. The connections alone are worth it, not to mention the excursions and exposure to local culture. UPDATE: I ended up going on 3rd trip to Antigua, Guatemala, and have a 4th planned for Playa Grande, Costa Rica! See less
I had a wonderful month in Barcelona with Noma! What a fantastic group, friends I made for life and an excellent community host who kept us all together!
Had my first experience with Noma Collective in Barcelona, and Im so happy I did it! Was such a great experience and got to meet new people to travel with. Everyone on the Noma team was so helpful, kind, and fun. Especially Leo, our community manager. She made every event feel so special and planned so many fun activities. Can’t wait until the next trip!
Barcelona with Noma was one of the best months of my life. A large part of that was thanks to the community manager, Leo. She truly made the city come to life. It felt more like living in Barcelona rather than just being a tourist with all of Leo’s recommendations - when Leo recommends a restaurant you know it will be spectacular. It was also great having two other Noma employees Calla and Molly on the trip - both of whom helped to build community and make our group a close knit one. I feel so lucky that I got to explore Barcelona and meet a new group of friends!
Stayed in Belize over January. Had the absolute best time. Our host Sarah was amazing, organised all our trips, any issues she solved and even managed to get us free pizza 5 stars!!! The resort was a great place to work at, the weekend trips were the best #livingmybestlife met the most amazing people in our group (perfect group size of 15), got myself an amazing group of digital nomad friends to travel and work with now. Would highly recommend!!!
I had a wonderful month in Barcelona with Noma! What a fantastic group, friends I made for life and an excellent community host who kept us all together!
Where do I begin - it was great to see Barcelona with Noma. The team is great - Calla brought amazing energy, Leo brought such expertise and fun, and Molly always brought the people together with a smile. Not everything was perfect (I wouldn’t expect that from any international trip) but the team was attentive, kind, and so helpful in problem solving with us. If you have a chance, go to Barcelona with Noma.
I did Noma's Lima edition in March 2025 and the Buenos Aires edition in April 2024. Both were EXCELLENT! and exceeded expectations. What Noma has cracked the code on is (1) freeing you to do your work without interruption while also then (2) giving you a way to do the best things in town/region *with awesome people.* I'd put my head down to work, knowing that every other day/night I'd be seeing people, having fun, and going to a great restaurant, bar, dancing, tour, cultural experience, etc. From what I've heard of other digital nomad approaches, I would worry about being alone for too long. With Noma, you can be alone as much as you like but you have a built-in friend group to do fun stuff with. The local experience is greatly enhanced by the local community managers they hire. Both ones on my trips (Vani in BA and Angel in Lima) were kinda the greatest -- very different from each other but both cared a lot about the experience and were proud of their home cities and countries. I don't see how I can not do this at least once a year.
I attended the London music festival edition May 2024 🎸💃🏽 This was my second Noma trip after attending the Costa Rica Thanksgiving 2023 edition and I had a memorable experience overall. The accommodation provided a cozy living room, laundry facilities, and a spacious outdoor garden, creating a comfortable 'home away from home'. The studio apartment was adequate for work too. Although some festivals were not my vibe and the location was a bit far from the accommodation in Primrose Hill, those I did attend were enjoyable. The community manager had the best energy and was so kind 💙 She gave great suggestions for things to do around the city. She also led the yoga classes. I met some great people on this trip. Can't wait for the next one! 🫶🏽 I also attended the Pipa, Brazil 2024 Thanksgiving edition and loved it. The location was incredible - everyone had their own little house on a beautiful property. Melissa was an amazing community manager who helped organized extra activities. It was the perfect balance of getting work done and chilling on the beach. I'm grateful for the connections I made and the memories we created! 🇧🇷🍹🌅
I would not recommend booking with Noma Collective based on my experience. After paying for a trip, I requested a refund, as the Boca del Toro area had conflicts that prevented safe travel, and I have still not received one. What made this situation significantly worse was how difficult it was to get in contact with anyone. There is no accessible phone support, and I had to repeatedly reach out through Instagram and Slack just to attempt communication. Even more concerning, some individuals I contacted stated they no longer worked there and implied I should not expect timely assistance. That level of disorganization and lack of continuity made an already frustrating situation even more concerning. Overall, this has been an extremely time-consuming and negative experience. I did not feel supported as a customer, and getting clear, consistent communication has been a challenge from start to finish. I am currently pursuing further action to resolve this matter. If you are considering booking, I strongly advise confirming all policies, refund terms, and reliable points of contact in writing before making any payment or even better select another company to travel with.
I participated in the Nome Collective, Festival Edition, London, and was very pleased with the program. The unexpected friendships and connections made me feel instantly comfortable and part of the collective. There was a freedom in the program to follow our individual interests, while also attending group side activities; and I had the time I needed to work. I highly recomend the remote work program for those who love to travel, work, and yet still want a group of support to rely upon.
UPDATED Noma was my first digital nomad group travel experience and I’m so glad I went with them. I joined the expedition to Belize and had an amazing time, the trip is perfectly curated for a nomad: organized but flexible. We had an amazing community manager: Sarah who lives and know Placencia like the back of her hand. It was nice having her support on the trip whenever anything went wrong. Antigua Guatemala Oct. 2024 Had such a great time the first time around I had to come back for more! I had such an incredible time in Antigua. The location is absolutely perfect for digital nomads, I have 0 complaints! We went to lake Atitlan, hike a volcano and enjoyed manyyyy coffee shops. Huge shout out to our community manager Leo! Besides her immaculate organizational and management skills, her energy is electric! She truly cared for all of us and made sure we had a good time. You’re in luck if you have Leo as a community manager, P.S. a birdie told me she also hosts the Barcelona crew!
DO ITTTTTTTTTT. Get out of your head, get off your ass, and get on a plane. This was my second Noma trip and they never disappoint. Pipa is an incredible location for the thrill seekers as well as the relax focused goers. It’s easy to choose your own adventure. This Pipa edition was made extra special by our incredibly thoughtful and loving community manager, Mariana! Mariana helped us get settled in and feel at home while promoting a fun and engaging environment. Wouldn’t have been the same without her ☺️. Overall, another 10/10 experience. Will continue to choose Noma in the future.
Overall, I had a nice time on the Noma Collective’s Buenos Aires edition. There were some highs and lows, as with all travel experiences, but I will start on a positive note. The highs: - The built in community setting was a huge part of what made this trip fun. Loved having the planned activities and people to do things with, such as shared dinners. It takes a lot of the thinking and effort out of planning. - Vani was the host of our edition and she was one of the best parts of the experience. She was a lot of fun to be around, planned thoughtful activities for us to enjoy, and had the energy to hang and keep the group motivated at all times. - I think most everyone will agree that the weekend trip to Mendoza was a highlight. It was really beautiful and the vineyards were incredible, as well as the evening parties. This was without a doubt, my favorite part of the trip! - The dance lessons and tango show were also a lot of fun! The lows: - I was not pleased with the accommodation, especially for the price that we paid. The WIFI in my room did not work well enough for me to take video calls and this is an integral part of my work in sales. I had to take all of my important meetings in the coworking space, which was inconvenient, seeing as how others also use this space. This is the one thing that I look for when booking accommodations while digital nomading, so I found this to be quite disappointing. Additionally, I had a problem with ants, the shower was completely clogged and would fill up with water when I showered, and the kitchen was very minimally stocked. - I was not a fan of the location we were in, Villa Crespo. It was about a 20 min walk to the cute and fun area of Palermo, which would make more sense to be. If I want to take a break to go to a nice coffee shop, I don’t want to spend 40 mins walking there and back while I’m working. - Overall, the trip ends up being fairly expensive, as the dinners out ended up being around $55-$60 USD each time and the Mendoza trip was also not cheap. You end up paying more than just the sticker price if you want to join all the activities. It’s a bit harder to use card to pay in a group of 10 or so and cash is hard to easily obtain in Argentina due to the economic situation. All part of traveling in different countries, but just something to be aware of, as this would not be such an issue in another location. Would I book another trip with Noma? Potentially in another location, such as Belize, but not likely. Not sure that I felt the experience was worth the cost when there are many other ways to travel and meet people successfully.
Had an absolute blast in BA. This company is professional, quick to respond to your needs... can't say enough good things about them and my experience for 3 weeks in Buenos Aires.
So, so grateful for this experience! Amazing accommodation (the Avenidas apartment is 😍), great communication, and most importantly, great people to share it with. It really helped to have a built-in group to explore Lisbon with. And our Community Manager Pedro was so cheerful and helpful in finding activities the whole group enjoyed. Count me in for more Noma editions😍
Obrigado
The Noma March 2024 Kenya edition was an incredible experience. Watamu where the edition was hosted is one of the best locations I have been for remote working, organising amazing local experiences from the numerous beaches, restaurant and bars and weekend trips to the Marafa Hells Kitchen and Malindi where we stayed a on a traditional Dhow overnight. They chose great accommodation which allowed us to be productive during work hours and areas to relax with fellow guests after work. The highlight of the trip was at the end with a once in a lifetime trip to the Maasai Mara National Reserve and 3 day safari, hosted and run by local Maasai guides. This edition was a trip that that will live long in the memory and would highly recommend Noma to anyone.
Months later and i still don't have the words to express all that my noma trips (costa rica, '23, and brazil ‘24 hosted by melissa) meant to me. i did noma on a whim with my sister - to see what it would be like to travel for a bit longer than a normal vacay, to explore how work and travel can integrate, and to meet new people my age. my humble goals were shattered upon arrival in costa rica. it was so much more than that. i shared this on my instagram: "i didn’t know two weeks with a bunch of strangers could be so profound. i didn’t know as an adult you could play this much. i didn’t know work and travel could integrate so seamlessly. and i didn’t know how much i was craving the chance to shake up my life a bit and connect with new folks from around the world. i feel uprooted in the best way - renewed, restored, reflective and excited by the ways this experience has inspired me to incorporate more novelty, play, exploration, movement, and adventure into my everyday life. i feel like i got the green light to pursue all things good, in all aspects of my life, at anytime possible. and i feel in tune with the richness of life and excited to keep moving in that direction." if you aren't sure about noma, i invite you to take the leap. at the very least you'll have a blast, and more likely than that - you'll feel more in tune with yourself & the things that matter most to you, and a renewed commitment to cultivating your life around the most invaluable things we have at our disposal - adventure, friendship, exploration, love, connection, collaboration, chosen family, nature, and the brilliant unfamiliarity of being in a new place. the noma community is one i am forever grateful to have stumbled upon. enjoy!
Noma Belize edition was my first digital nomad experience, and I could not have asked for anything better! Between the karaoke nights, pickleball tournaments, work sessions at beach cabanas, fantastic on-site host Sarah (best camp counselor :D ), yummy food, stunning beaches.... I could keep going far beyond this word limit. Our group is already planning our reunion and scouting out our next Noma location. 1000/10 Recommend!
Noma was my first digital nomad group experience and I'm so glad I did it. My month in Barcelona was nothing short of magical and it was wonderful to have a group of adventurous people to go out and explore with. I appreciated that Noma arranged my transportation so I didn't have to stress upon arrival or departure, and it was great to have someone on site to help me with any issues that arose. Loved the yoga classes too!
The Noma Placencia trip was so so good! Sarah was on top of everything, from farm store deliveries to karaoke nights and weekend excursions, it really makes a difference having someone local to the area. Our group was also such a good mix. On these trips, you get all the benefits of traveling alone — you can do whatever you want, whenever you want— but you never feel lonely. We had dinners, drinks, and late night card game sessions together. I’ve made 14 new friends in just three weeks. 100% would recommend.
Had a great stay in Belize with Noma. I've traveled with other groups and really loved the smaller group size, having a local guide, the planned activities, and the amazing people I met during my 3 weeks. Would absolutely recommend!
The Noma Belize edition was absolutely lovely. Sarah made our time so special. It's really great to be able to travel with a group of like minded people.
Traveling with Noma gives you community and a more authentic travel experience. There was a perfect balance of work, free time, and planned activities for the group. I highly recommend!!!
I have now done three trips with Noma (Belize, Argentina, and Costa Rica) and all were overall great experiences. They are a newer company, so there are things that could be improved, but the pros far outweigh any issues. I really connected with the people in my programs and felt like I belonged to a community. The staff are incredible and go above and beyond to make sure you have a good experience. The value for your money is so much better than other companies and the smaller group size is great for really getting to know people. I would definitely recommend this to anyone craving a sense of community while working remotely. See less
I can’t say enough good things about my time at Noma! I love this company so much I immediately signed up for another edition. It was the best month of my life in Belize with Noma. Ever made my time so special. He is the perfect fit for this job. He is so welcoming and is very knowledgeable of the area and plans amazing trips.
I have gone on 3 trips with Noma (Belize, Panama, and Argentina) and highly recommend traveling with them if working remotely! I have had Vani and Juan as my trip leaders -- they were both very personable, fun to be around, and patient (especially with translation help!), paired with extensive knowledge of the areas to provide a well-rounded and local experience. They conveniently plan activities around working hours and often have group dinners after work. The activities apply to a wide range of interests: salsa dance lessons, beach trips, hikes to ancient ruins, local cooking classes, wine tastings, yoga, surfing, and more. Noma provides a great sense of community and have made long-term friends through the experiences. I cannot wait to join them for more trips in the future!
Recently, I had the opportunity to be part of Noma Collective's Costa Rica Friendsgiving in November 2023. The experience was amazing. Noma skillfully crafted a journey that perfectly merged work, leisure, and cultural exploration. The camaraderie and connections I developed with other digital nomads were very enriching. Our time in Costa Rica was an adventure filled with newfound friendships and personal development. I recommend Noma Collective to anyone in search of a distinctive and rewarding digital nomad journey. Anticipating my next trip already. See less
I just returned from my first trip with Noma and my first group travel trip in general. I had an absolutely amazing time on the Belize edition. From swimming wtih sharks and sea turtles, hiking in the jungle to a waterfall, island hoping, and cave exploring to delicious dinners and countless coladas in Placencia, every event and excursion was well-planned and offered memories I'll cherish for a very long time. Sarah, our community manager, was awesome! She helped us navigate getting around Placencia, gave suggestions to make our stay as comfortable as possible, and was a great person to talk to and go on adventures with! Everyone I met on the trip was so cool and quickly turned into a friend. I highly recommend going to Belize, Noma's first location. It was incredible. Within the first week of being there, I booked a second trip with Noma for later this spring. I can't wait! Seriously, you won't regret booking a trip with Noma. Go for it and be ready for an incredible experience. See less
Had a wonderful experience on their Buenos Aires edition! Our host Vani was the best and so knowledgeable. Would recommend to anyone considering digital nomad life!
The Noma Costa Rica Friendsgiving Edition at Onda was two magical weeks of pure bliss. Before and after work we surfed, salsa danced, learned pickleball, played sand volleyball, joined in and cheered on local soccer games, hiked volcanos, relaxed in hot springs and watched almost every sunset together on the beach. What felt like adult summer camp in the best way turned 18 strangers into family, I can honestly say it was a life changing travel experience. What Noma does to set up experiences that build community is true magic. They do a great job curating all details, logistics and experiences so you are comfortable and set up for success the minute you arrive. They chose the best accommodation possible with Onda. I will never forget November in Playa Grande
I had a great experience with Noma in Belize and would highly recommend. All of the group activities far exceeded my expectations. The community manager, Sarah, was amazing - she took care of every single detail and fostered a sense of community. The accommodations at the resort were great.
Great experience! So nice as a solo traveller having everything taken care of for me and meeting new people! Highly recommend the Guatemala edition!
I recently joined Noma Collective for their Costa Rica Friendsgiving November 2023 edition, and it was an amazing experience.
Four Noma trips and all of them were absolutely incredible! (Late fall 2024) Pipa, Brazil was such a fun edition. I was on the pilot edition over Thanksgiving, and absolutely loved it. Melissa was a great community manager - so fun, kind, and supportive! The location was incredible - near enough to town for easy grocery runs and so much to do at night and during the day. We were also just a walk away from two gorgeous beaches. Our accommodation was unreal. So beautiful with great wifi and places to work. (Early fall 2024) The Barcelona edition was also incredible. The community manger, Leo did a wonderful job of showing us Barcelona and helping us discover the less touristic parts that make the city great. Definitely go in September for the La Mercè festival! (Spring 2024) The Lisbon edition was really great. I loved the city so much and it was really fun to live in an apartment with several other nomads. The sense of community was really strong! (Late fall 2023) I just returned from my first trip with Noma and my first group travel trip in general. I had an absolutely amazing time on the Belize edition. Had a wonderful experience on their Buenos Aires edition! Our host Vani was the best and so knowledgeable. Would recommend to anyone considering digital nomad life!
I recently spent 2.5 weeks in Buenos Aires on the queer/pride edition. It was the best 2.5 weeks of my life. Our host, Juan, was absolutely wonderful. He went out of his way to ensure we had a great time and very quickly became a genuine member of our group. I am praying that the first queer edition is not the last, we need more of them Noma!
Incredibly grateful for the most wonderful, magical time I had in Buenos Aires with Noma Collective. Our host, Juan, was kind, professional and supportive and knew all the best local spots that I would never have found by myself. The apartment was really well appointed - spacious, clean and oh my god the bed was so so comfortable! I couldn't have wished for a better time, I will be back!
Had such an amazing experience and got to meet really lovely people from all over. 3 weeks flew by sooo quickly. Massive shoutout for the community manager, Sarah, who was so kind, fun, considerate and planned things in a way that kept everyone happy. Highly recommend Noma if anyone’s nervous about solo travel!
I had the opportunity to go on the Barcelona Noma Collective, October 2023. It surpassed my expectations! Not just the city, apartment location, food and beach, the Noma curated experiences really took the experience to a higher level. Thank you, Noma, Calla and Pepe for helping to create a valuable, authentic and fun community building digital nomad experience for us!! Before I arrived I remember being told that I’d make lifelong friendships. They were right and I’m a better person and friend after this trip of a lifetime!
Amazing experience! The apartments were all beautiful and a good set up with wifi/working. The noma crew is so helpful from the onboarding process to the actual trip they are there every step of the way. There were fun activities planned every week so there was never a dull moment. But the best part was the community. Top tier! Can't wait for my next trip!
My 2nd experience with Noma this time on Bocas in Panama and it was great! Really unique and beautiful facilities, got to listen to howler monkeys and made friends for life. Highly recommend any of Noma's editions!
Note: noma did give me a full refund for the cost of the stay. **Buyer beware** From the moment I arrived, everything that could go wrong, did. Ultimately you're trusting Noma to make good decisions for you - where you stay, the events they plan, the day-to-day admin and communication - don't. If you have any real experience as a nomad, this will not work well for you. Ignore the fancy marketing. Just a few of the issues I faced in the 7 days before I left the experience early: - It's expensive. Like 3 x more than booking accommodation direct. Which means the community and facilities should be awesome, they are not. - Internet didn't work properly for 3.5 days, for me and other guests, so had to re-pack and change rooms. Every single page on the Noma website talks about high-speed internet, but on reporting immediate issues I was met with total incompetence. I was told they had tested the internet performance, but this must've been a lie as they didn't know the Wi-Fi passwords at that point and had to get them from the building owners. - We weren't given the *full* building address, and the street name existed in two places in the city, so I was stranded 10miles from the accommodation on my first night. Partly on me, but they reacted with a total lack of empathy. - Apartment details only supplied an hour before landing - critical info for passing through security. - 1 host didn't show up at all, one was different to listed and one was barely present. We were on a queer experience expecting queer hosts. The change wasn't communicated to us, and I was lied to by the sales person when asking about this "they were never meant to host". - The hosts were meant to be local but there was no local knowledge of basic things like good cafes, recommendations for gyms, or things to do other than party. - The hosts seem more interested in partying than helping, they are terribly organised. Great, fun people but badly suited for actually organising events for groups and often uncontactable. - In fact in our first 3 days 2 hosts were not there and one was sick so we were left mostly on our own. - Some of the guests made it clear they had no intent to work despite this supposedly being a critical requirement of attending - No one was there to greet us or show us around the hotel. Someone from a nearby collective showed up but didn't know the hotel, the wifi or the building. - The hotel was EXTREMELY noisy, both the road 24/7, and building itself (thin walls, noisy hallways, slamming doors). It looks good in the photos but it was actually very budget and the area is terrible. Please try and avoid staying in this area for your own safety. - The hotel pool was tiny and the roof terrace space totally neglected. This was advertised a key selling point, but it was just horrible and no-one used it. - The hotel had maybe 50 rooms over 9 floors. Do not expect boutique accommodation. - The hotel had one washing machine, which was poorly maintained and made my clothes dirtier when I used it - The events calendar from the website was ignored. So was the different events calendar we were sent. We were meant to receive this 2 weeks before travelling but got it 2 days before. No yoga or fitness events, no 'knowledge sharing', lots of last-minute plans, not enough space at meals. We were meant to be having local cultural experiences but were taken to sushi restaurants and suggested film evenings? - The support when complaining was combative and unhelpful - lots of "I'm sorry you feel that way" and very little actually done eg I was told "sorry about the internet not working but it's only the second day" - Constant promises from the CEO to address things, encouraging me to stay on, but nothing actually changing The concept is amazing, and I will say that other people who attended were more laidback about the issues. Set your expectations low and don't rely on the hosts, and you may enjoy the experience, Please do your research before booking. In my opinion for the same price you can have a much better experience.
I participated in the trip to Bocas del Toro, Panama - July 2023 Edition and in general it was a great experience. I met very kind people with whom I keep in touch after the trip. My personal highlights from this trip were the yoga classes, planned weekend tours, and family dinners. From a work point of view, the internet speed worked perfectly despite the fact that the power went out a couple of times, everything returned to normal very quickly. The coworking space is excellent, and besides that it has air conditioning, I spent a lot of time there and during the three weeks I was able to get a lot more work done than when I worked from home. If you are thinking of traveling for the first time as a digital nomad, I recommend Noma Collective because it allows you to balance work and fun without having to start looking for activities yourself. The Nowhere hotel staff were very friendly and made me feel welcome immediately. As well as the community manager, Juan, who was always looking for options so that we were all comfortable. The only downside on my part is that as a vegan it was difficult to find food options in local supermarkets and restaurants, most of the times we went out I had to eat modified vegetarian food (removing ingredients) which can be done, but ends up being tasteless sometimes. This was more noticeable in 2 of the tours organized for the weekend (Zapatilla Island and Estrella beach) where the option was to eat rice, salad and fried plantain only, so if you are vegan, you probably will have very limited food options, especially protein. The places where there were more vegan and very delicious options were in Cafe del Mar (Bocas del Toro), Palmar (Red Frog beach) and La Buga (Bocas del Toro). Another thing that I feel was missing was a tour to learn about the history of the place that is being visited, to learn something new about the life of the locals, indigenous people, etc. which can undoubtedly be enriching for those of us visiting the place for the first time.
The people were lovely, but I had to ask multiple times on prices on extras and I still do not know what the full cost of the work holiday would have been (I cannot book if I cannot budget). I hope they get this ironed out as it seems like a small business that has big potential in being great. 😊 Good luck.
I recently did two Noma trips (Guatemala and Panama) and these experiences changed my perspective on travel. It’s not just about visiting beautiful places, but most importantly the connections you make along the way. Traveling with Noma gives you community and a more authentic traveling experience. The managers were amazing, shout out to Mariela and Juan! There was a perfect balance of work, free time, and planned activities for the group. I highly recommend booking with Noma for your next trip!
This trip was so amazing that I decided to another one right after. Mariela was the community manager and she is one of the main reasons it was great. The events were planned well, every person at Noma was fun to interact with and I can't wait for my next trip!
A Noma trip is always great fun! Leo was the best guide for Barcelona. I felt like a local after day one! Can’t wait to do it again in another city!
Went on Noma's Antigua Edition in June 2023. It was a once in a lifetime experience. There is no doubt in my mind. Logistically, Noma handles things extremely well. The communication, accommodation, and excursions were impeccable and professionally handled. But more than that, this was an incredibly well curated experience of connection, friendship, and adventure. And that was in no small part thanks to our extremely reliable and friendly community manager, Mariela, who set the tone for the whole trip. I will never forget my Noma experience and you can be sure I'll be booking another.
I went on my second Noma trip this past June to beautiful Antigua, Guatemala! Our community host, Mariela, was so welcoming, friendly and happily showed us around the city. There were many activities and adventures on this trip, it was well worth it!
I've traveled with Noma on two editions this year - first in Belize in February and then we loved the community so much we decided to immediately book the next edition to Kenya in April. Belize was our first time traveling internationally as remote workers so we were pretty nervous. It was a remote location to get to but the flights were dreamy looking out the window and the resort gives White Lotus vibes in the best way. We had so many local, non-touristy driven excursions that helped us get a good feel for the area and was very community driven. Our group leader was a local and one of the kindest people I've met, who always got us where we needed to be on time without us ever feeling the stress. The incredible experience in Belize was what got us excited to travel with Noma again so quickly, even though we hadn't planned on another vacation. When we finally arrived in Kenya (pro tip: get yourself a visa before trying to get on a flight) it was a dream come true. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by the most friendly resort staff who took us to a beautiful room overlooking palm trees and the beach. And we immediately got to meet the friendly monkeys that play in the trees around the property and in the coworking space (which was my fave part of it all!). Most importantly our group leader Dianne was so connected to her community, and so passionate about ensuring we were able to tap into the local community, that we all felt like locals. Not a single experience we had felt like a tourist trap. From barbecues with a local family, to meeting a traditional healer, to jumping off a traditional sailboat into bioluminescent waters, to dancing the night away under the ancient baobabs; our experience is impossible to put into words but I'll say it was life changing in many ways. I learned more about myself in one month than I have in 30 years thanks to the mindful, connected, inspired experiences we had along the way. Not to mention the safari at the end in one of the only Masai Mara operated camps outside the national park was the cherry on top. If you're trying to figure out if you can work remote and enjoy the nomad life, with Noma, you absolutely can make it work.
The perfect arrangement for digital nomads that want to explore the world with new friends. Imagine travelling to a new country with 15 awesome & like-minded strangers-turned-family and a community manager that knows the area and all it’s best kept secrets. You can work away during the day surrounded by monkeys swinging from the trees and the ocean breeze a few steps away. Whenever you have a chance to escape work, there are a ton of activities to choose from and a group ready to experience new things with. Yoga, fitness, cultural impact activities, parties, family dinners, beach days, scuba diving - there’s something for absolutely everyone on a Noma trip. The best part is the the group of people that quickly become friends for life - and the coordinators that put their heart and soul into ensuring you have the best possible experience. If you’re considering the Kenya edition, just book it now and I promise you won’t regret it. And once you join a Noma trip, I promise it won’t be your last. If you’re used to solo travelling and planning everything your own - you’ll love the ease of travelling with Noma. You’ll save a ton of time on planning and will always have a private work station guaranteed. Special shout out to Diane in Kenya for making our trip way better than we ever could’ve imagined :)
Trip of a lifetime in Kenya, incredible experience, well planned, fantastic people and really great digital nomad set up. The curation of events was so good, felt like being a local as opposed to a tourist. Highly recommended
I have traveled with Noma twice now (Belize and Kenya) and my experiences with them have truly been wonderful. The group has a way of bringing together individuals from all walks of life who share a common goal of exploring new destinations, immersing themselves in new cultures, and building lasting connections while still working hard What sets Noma apart is their approach to crafting a true community. From unexpected local experiences to unique activities, they provide a truly immersive experience that feels more like traveling with a group of friends than a tour company. I highly recommend traveling with Noma. It's a truly unforgettable experience that will leave a lasting impact on your life.
I spent 25 magical nights in Watamu, Kenya with Noma in March 2023. Kenya hadn't been on my radar, but the program worked with my schedule and I was excited to try a more organized program for the first time in my two years as a digital nomad. But, WOW, Kenya! I was so taken by how present the rhythms of nature are. We stayed on the mangroves where the Mida Creek meets the Indian Ocean. Temple Point resort was a gorgeous home base and the staff was so hospitable. The first weekend of the program Kaleidoscope Festival was held at the resort we were living at, and it was so much fun and a great way to bond and party with my fellow Nomies. Diane, our fearless leader and community manager, ensured we had plenty of other opportunities to connect and bond throughout the month with unique shared experiences such as barbecue with the Giriama people, family dinners, full moon float through the mangroves, weekend on a pirate ship, and so much more. There were other Americans working the same hours as me so I never felt like I was missing out on activities because I had to work in the evenings. The wifi at the resort was pretty good (although I don't have to be on camera for meetings), and Noma provided us with SIM cards so we could use the local mobile payments system called M-Pesa, and mobile hotspots for any hiccups in wifi or power. The optional add-on of safari at the end of the program was just the icing on the cake! You can't go to Kenya and not experience safari and Diane and Noma hired the best guides and we stayed at the only camp in the Mara run by the Maasai people. I would definitely recommend Noma to any digital nomad! You get to not only connect with others in the same stage of life and living the same lifestyle, but you get bond over daily once-in-a-lifetime shared experiences.
I booked the Kenya edition on a whim just a week before the program and it was the BEST decision I ever possibly could have made. The location, the community and the support from Noma was amazing - it was just the right amount of 'hands on' vs. letting you find your groove and we were offered amazing experiences both in the local community and in bonding with the Noma crew. I have traveled with other travel programs before and this was hands down the best of the experiences I have had. Don't hesitate to book it. Already counting down the days till the next Kenya edition!
A life changing month with Noma. Everything and every one on the trip exceeded my expectations and I can’t wait to do it all again in another one of their locations.
I made the impulsive decision to book the Feb-March 2023 Buenos Aires edition, and it's one of the best decisions I've ever made! I highly recommend Noma Collective to anyone with a remote job who is looking for travel options. First, you don't have to travel alone, and the sense of community you feel with your fellow Noma-ds makes all the difference; I spent three weeks making the best memories with the best people. Second, Noma's Community Managers do an exceptional job of putting together a varied activity calendar. You can do your own thing if you're independent and prefer to plan for yourself, but if you don't want to worry about planning and prefer a premade itinerary, then Noma's team has it covered. There are truly no cons to traveling with Noma, and I will definitely be booking a future edition!
I have now done two trips with Noma and both were overall great experiences.
One of the best experiences of my life. If you’re looking for adventure and community as a nomad, this is it. Can’t wait for my next Noma!
Everything that could go wrong in terms of experience and service did. Avoid, there's much better companies out there that do the same thing but much better.

I joined the Belize chapter for 3 weeks in November 2022 and had the time of my life. The community manager, Ever is fantastic; always making sure the group was comfortable and having fun. The wifi worked perfectly the entire 3 weeks even through a hurricane. The rooms are beautiful and there are optional activities planned everyday. The group feels like family by the end of the trip. I will be joining more Noma chapters in the future no doubt! Thank you Ever and Noma!!

Wow what an AMAZING experience from Noma!! I did the Panamá edition in Oct/Nov 2022 and it drastically exceeded any expectations I had. The activities were wonderful, the location and accommodations were fabulous, and most importantly the people I met made this trip so incredibly special. I walked away with so many special memories and new friends across the world. I will certainly being doing another Noma edition next year! Thank you for the time of my life!!
I had an absolutely amazing time in Antigua. The accommodations were lovely, spacious and clean! The best part, by far, was our noma crew. We had a blast and everything was so well organized and thought out. From family dinners, crazy weekend adventures (including hiking a volcano and releasing baby sea turtles into the ocean), to cozy nights in, I had an incredible time and met some of the coolest people. I can say that I made some wonderful, life-long friends as well :) I will definitely book another adventure with Noma Collective!
You know those insta pages, where everyone is always on a beach, doing super interesting things on the weekends, seeing cool stuff you didn’t even know existed, laughing, having a great time, hanging out with all their friends, and basically living their best life? That’s what Noma is like but IRL. I had a great time in Belize!!! Met some awesome people, I laughed, explored so much, loved life everyday. I was sad to leave and I know a lot of people were too. Big shout out to Ever for being a great host! If you’re on the fence about going - this is your sign to get out there. Wi-Fi was pretty good 99.9% of the time. Didn’t interfere with my work at all, which was my main concern. I’ll definitely be doing another trip like this again My tips: - bring bug spray - find out what kills sand flees and bathe in that everyday - bring lots of cash, specially in small bills ($5 bills will serve you well) - back up your phone and upload pics to the group semi frequently
I had a great experience in Barcelona. Leo was a fun and knowledgeable tour guide. She had great recommendations and was always helpful!
Such an incredible experience! From initial conversations, to the entire experience, the team was super responsive and helpful. Every person I've interacted with at Noma has been great. The sense of community created on this experience really makes it special and the activities they plan are so fun and there's something for everyone. It couldn't have been better, already signed up for a second:) Highly recommend!
Noma was an awesome experience and decision, I will definitely be doing another edition next year. I did the Belize location, which was a really good balance/mix of chill beach vibes at the resort we were staying, with fun jungle and adventure excursions on the weekends, not to mention some partying too. There was something for everyone. In terms of feedback specifically for Noma - you guys are doing great, keep it up. I especially enjoyed making great connections with Calla and Ever, they truly made it a memorable experience for everyone and made sure all had what they needed throughout the trip. In terms of tips for future travelers - definitely look at budgeting for what this will cost - if you're like me and want to join in on most of the excursions/weekly events to enjoy the community, it can get expensive (I also didn't have the luxury of not having an apartment rent so that may just be a personal thing). FYI -The Umaya resort is very beautiful! I'd keep in mind it's pretty limited with cooking utensils so you'll be keeping it very basic the nights you cook. There is no fitness center, but they have access to some dumbbells. Luckily I get creative with my workouts and made it work but it's not a typical resort with a fitness center amenity! I can't wait to check out another edition soon!
Noma brings people from all over the world to experience the world while encouraging guests to be their most authentic selves. What starts as a fun trip ends with new memories, greats friends, and more often than not, self discovery. As with any new company, Noma still has some kinks to iron out, but with staff like Calla (on the Kenya edition) and Steph (on the Argentina edition) problems are addressed and solved quickly. All they want is to create the best experiences for their guests and it shows. With three editions under my belt already I can confidently say I will be back for more! Choosing Noma is one of the easiest decisions to make!!
If you’re waiting for a sign or a little push to get you to yes, here it is. Unless experiencing many once in a lifetime adventures — safari aka real life lion king or sleeping on a hand-made vessel waking up to crystal clear water — isn’t for you, you need not second guess your gut any longer. If you’re thinking work will get in the way, you just need to be transparent with your colleagues and work with the NOMA team who will provide everything you need, including the pro tips and resources you need to have the best connectivity for your work. & if you live in any number of major cities and are the type of person who is considering this, chances are you’re both paying a similar price in rent and socializing anyway. Why not spend what you would at your usual weekend watering hole and instead of helping your landlord get rich, sublet your place if you can/need and book your flight. You’ll meet people you never would have otherwise, become fast friends bonded over learning Swahili phases like Jambo and Asante Sana and being wowed over your new shared reality, and move forward to your next adventure with a deeper knowingness about yourself that will only serve you well.
Truly had the best time with Noma - even if you’re not a seasoned “digital nomad” I still highly recommend going on at least one of the Noma editions - the location, resort, activities planned and most of all the people I met on the trip made for the best experience I will always look fondly on. Can’t wait to book another one!!
For people newer to the digital nomading experience or looking for a budget group travel experience, I think Noma could be a fine option, but for people who are more established in the lifestyle they missed the mark for me on several fronts: 1. The wifi connection was insufficient- I had significant issues making video calls and doing any kind of work with a VPN 2. The coworking space was designed to look good on Instagram, but was missing the basics that make it functional. 3. Operationally everything kind of felt like a mess. We constantly ran behind, had short notice on events and going's on and rarely ever stayed on schedule. I always kind of felt like no one knew what was going on and you had to show up ready to make the best of a avoidable situation. 4. Many of the amenities promised to us by the Kenyan resort were not there like a kitchen to make our own food. Maybe not entirely Noma's fault but they are still considering doing future editions there. Finding good, nutritious food during the month was the hardest part and we really survived on pizza, ramen, noodle, and whatever else you could find. Overall, I was really disappointed in Noma and frustrated at how much I was asked for my honest feedback and then given excuses and pushback on that feedback. On the other hand many other people in the group claimed to have really enjoyed the experience and I hear more established editions like Belize have things more organized. Unfortunately, I can't recommend them based on my month in Kenya.
Never thought it would be possible for me to be a digital nomad, and then I found Noma Collective. The last month I spent in Bocas del Toro doing their Panama edition was beyond incredible. Days were filled with working by the ocean or at the jungle resort surrounded by monkeys, beach hopping, a sunset cruise, snorkel trips, yoga, family dinners, nights out, and that was just in the first week. Ever, our Community Manager, planned weekly events and handled logistics for the group so that we didn’t have to. He made sure we were set up for our 9-5 during the week and that we were ready to have fun when the weekend hit. Noma Collective gives you the chance to work and play in some of the most beautiful places on earth alongside an incredible community of people who live, and look at the world, similarly. Because of that, I’ve made amazing friends who feel like family, so it’s safe to say that each time I do an edition with Noma it feels like home. Highly recommend experiences with Noma – it’ll probably change your life in the best way. ❤️
I had an incredible experience with Noma Collective in Panama and am looking forward to returning for another edition soon! The Panama edition is located in a beautiful jungle resort just minutes from the beach and local town. It is the perfect introduction to working remotely while traveling as it allows you to quickly make friends, feel at home, and experience local cultures, all while balancing work with fun. It’s truly an amazing experience to share with diverse, adventurous, and hard-working people. Highly recommend Noma to anyone new to the digital nomad life or just looking for a unique experience with incredible people. Can’t wait for the next adventure! :)
I spent 4 weeks staying at Nowhere Resort in Bocas Del Toro with Noma Collective and it was exactly what I needed to reset and recharge. We had an amazing group of people that got to come together and share in the incredible jungle setting. From our common area, we could drink coffee and watch the family of monkeys play or the hummingbirds zip around. It felt incredible to be that immersed in nature while still connected to a community. Our Community Manager, Ever was amazing. He helped out with logistics of wifi, traveling and taxi, organized events for our group and made sure we were all taken care of. I loved it.
My only complaint about Noma is that they somehow massively undersell the experience. You will come away with indelible memories and your new best friends. Noma has curated a space that effectively allows you to get your work done, explore Belize, and experience profound personal and professional growth.
Like summer camp for adults. Great location and internet to be able to work professionally...but incredible curated community and baked in connection opportunities is the secret sauce here. Also, making new friends on yacht trips and snorkeling doesn't hurt.
Words won't do this experience justice. The place, the people, the excursions- all amazing! I didn't know what to expect when I signed up for Noma Collective, but it exceeded my wildest dreams. The Noma Collective staff is so helpful and friendly and the accommodations are amazing. It truly feels like you're working out of paradise. The activities and excursions allow you to opt in/out as your schedule allows and get a reallocal experience.
I spent a month in Belize in Jan 2021 and it was hands down the best decision I made, and escaping the cold weather in CT didn't hurt. The connections I made will last a life time and the community aspect of the program is what made it 5 star. The community managers did an amazing job at planning events and making everyone feel comfortable upon arrival. As someone who has never solo traveled before walking into a new group could have been intimidating, but as soon as I arrive everyone was so welcoming and instant friendships were made. I highly recommend booking at least 4 weeks to get the full experience and I hope I am able to try out their future additions!
So thrilled with my experience! One month at Noma Belize wasn’t enough. If you are even slightly thinking about booking - do it, you will not regret it. You will have access to an awesome community, beach, jungle and so much more. Belize itself is pure adventure, and the Noma team make the time incredible (shoutout to Calla and Ever for being the most phenomenal hosts/guides)! Location is right on the beach and you can experience the culture the way a local might. Best part is meeting other digital nomads and continuing the fun in any other part of the world. Will definitely return ✨🏝
Stayed and worked remotely at Noma for 3 weeks and wish I was able to extend for longer! I went scuba diving for the first time at the beautiful barrier reef, was able to do yoga x3 a week, and also participated in fun weekly events organized by the Noma community managers. I’ll definitely be back or going on another Noma trip sometime in the future.
I was supposed to join Noma collective for one month but was having such an amazing time I ended up extending AND returning for a second time. I’ve been working remotely and traveling for 2+ years now and, although I’m able to make friends and connections everywhere I go, no where has felt as much like a family as Noma has. It’s such a diverse, yet accepting, atmosphere and it gives you wonderful people to share beautiful adventures with. I couldn’t be happier that I ended up here, if you’re on the fence, go for it. You’ve got nothing to lose
Noma Collective offered one of the most enriching experiences I've ever had. The sales and marketing truly live up to the hype. The balance between work and play could not resonate harder with my vibe. Weekend excursions included trips to a natural spa like waterfall, a traditional cacao making tutorial, scuba diving with nurse sharks, historical Mayan Ruins that have better views than Chicken Itza, and an ATM cave tour that would blow your mind with the beauty of an otherworldly moonlike sanctuary. This family of friends genuinely cares about the happiness of their community and foster an inclusive environment to the point in which people extend their trips, never want to leave, or inspire those like me to give up their place of residence and embrace the digital nomad lifestyle.
Had a great time with Noma! They really care about their customers which is important for me. They were very well organised and it was well worth the money. Highly recommended.
This is a hard one because the staff was wonderful, smiling and just very pleasant. The bartenders Henery and Jamil were great and very helpful during our stay. The food was ok besides them running out of items on their menu. The room was not so pleasant. The smell of sewage in one of the rooms, toilets not working properly, water coming out the sink onto the floor. I just can not give a 5 star because of the room accommodation. I would give the staff a 5 star just because they were friendly.
Community, connection, presence in paradise. Seriously an incredible place. (Yes it’s real). You meet a lot of amazing people who quickly feel like family and make saying goodbye really difficult. There’s yoga 3x a week, community dinners, offsite adventures (the ATM caves are SO cool), boat trips, weekly workshops where we learn about all kinds of topics, bikes we can take for a spin, a cute little bowling alley within walking distance and so much great food around. (Oh it may be worth noting that the Village sits on a resort where there are other guests, too, from time to time but it feels very safe and they often join in on our volleyball games too ☺️) if you’re torn between choosing to stay on the lagoon or the beach, try both! Lagoon side is so peaceful and great for getting work done while the beach is still good for that but a prime spot for socializing by the pool bar. Also if you have a particular diet it may be good picking up some essentials and bringing them along with you. All in all, I could go on and on enough about this place—you should definitely check it out!! You won’t want to leave!
It is not often you take a trip that is wildly better then what you expected. Truly a special place!!
I came to visit for about 10 days while a friend was living there. The BEST vacation I’ve ever had hands down. The WiFi is great, the people are even better, the staff is incredibly helpful and kind and the food is amazing. They plan weekend excursions which are amazing, volleyball on the beach and community events make everyone feel welcome. The workshops they host with other guests are incredibly informational and I cannot say enough great things about this community. If you’re thinking of going- DO IT. Book your tickets now.
Considering Umaya? Do it. I've been here for about a month and LOVE it. There is so much to take advantage of. Great people, amazing adventures, and the staff is so kind and helpful. The team really goes out of their way to make sure you're having a great time and that you have everything you need so that you are just as productive here as you would be at home. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable place to work, meet awesome people and explore the jungles, caves and coral reefs of Belize.
My trip to Umaya was the best decision I ever made. To put it simple I was living and working from actual paradise surrounded by incredible humans from fellow Umayans to the beautiful locals. Like most people I booked for 1 month but ended up staying for 2, and then travelling on to Guatemala with my new Umaya friends! I stayed in one of the beachside apartments which had the most incredible view of the ocean. As I was working European hours, each morning I would walk outside to the pier and watch the sunrise or take one of the communal paddle boards or kayaks out and watch it from there. What a way to start the day! The apartments were spacious & super comfy, and the restaurant on site was so good (& convenient when working). The dishes were truly high end restaurant standard (for a fraction of the price!). On a Friday night the buffet communal dinners were always incredible and they had a different theme each week. This was also a really nice way to get together with fellow Umayans after a work week. The cocktails were also amazing, especially the spicy margaritas! During the week there would be all sorts of classes to keep us fit and healthy in between workdays. Some favourites of mine were yoga, Hitt and ecstatic dance! These would usually happen on the Lagoon side which is equally as beautiful as the ocean side and during the evening classes you could watch the sunset over the water. There were also great workshops each week run by other guests on a diverse array of topics. The staff on site from the bar attenders, to the maintenance team, to the Umaya community team were just fantastic and couldn’t do enough for you. Finally, there was the whole beautiful country outside of the resort to explore and that’s what the weekends were for! Belize has everything: from ocean, to mountains, Mayan ruins, caves, fantastic cuisine, village life and more. Some of my favourite trips were snorkelling with sharks, turtles and stingrays, river tubing, caving (the ATM cave is a MUST and will blow you away), hiking to the waterfalls and horse riding in the jungle.. And then there were the afternoons I spent visiting the local villages where I really immersed myself in the the many Belizean cultures (from Creole, to Garifuna, Mestizo, traditional Mayan and more) Bottom line of this review is if you are being indecisive about booking then just DO IT I promise you will not regret it!!!
If you ever feel like going to a digital nomad Paradise - Umaya is your place. Incredible people, great networking with professionals all over the world, perfect working environment, beach on one side and lagoon on the other, cool and approachable management team that you can party after hours with. Greatest 2 months I've ever spent. Even though I was working. To Ben, Will & Janet, Dan, Calla, Jack, Chef Jack, Saskia, Steph, little Luna and the rest the wonderful Umaya Team as well as the coolest guests - huge thank you! Just check out their instagram to see how vibey the place is @umaya_village.
My bf and I were invited to Umaya for Founder's Month and it was certainly an unforgettable experience. We extended our stay from 3 weeks to five because we found the vibe exactly what we wanted at the time. You're guaranteed a luxe (but affordable and not poncy) lifestyle as Umaya has AMAZING staff to support you during your stay and loads of amazing amenities like Lydia and her magical massages on the lagoon or an afternoon break from work on the paddleboards in the Caribbean Sea. While there were rocky moments with the internet, I stress that they were MOMENTS only and the Umaya Village staff do everything in their power to sort it out quickly. It's a wonderful place to live, work and meet people you will probably connect with for the rest of your life! <3
This place is incredible. I spent a month there, and it far surpassed my expectations. I instantly felt welcomed into the community, which was accelerated by the myriad of events (like workshops, volleyball, island hopping, and group dinners among other things) organized by the group. The rooms were beautiful, the internet was plenty fast to get remote work done, and the Caribbean was just out the back door. I really couldn't have asked for more!
Free! Take time off from the city life to discover what is waiting for you out on these Caribbean beaches! I will be back next year!
Absolutely incredible experience! I stayed at Umay for the month of April and it was life changing! I made amazing friends and work connections, relaxed on the beach everyday between calls, learned new things from my fellow Umaya Fam, and will absolutely go back! I highly recommend you make the trip!
So many experiences to share about this community , wouldnt know where to start. First of all.... if you're hesitating if you should go or not. Just go... and NOW. It has been a life changing trip for me in soo many ways. Won't go into details cuz soo much... But WOW... Team Umaya knows how to show us a good time. Its the perfect balance btw work and fun.. Internet is ace, food is great, activities are always innovative.. People are the best! Etc Best vibes garanteed!
I was captivated by an article in the Times about working remotely from Umaya Village, so I decided to check out their community. The location is phenomenal, situated between a lagoon and a pristine sandy beach. I highly recommend any aspiring digital nomad to visit, the nomad academy and community is fantastic, and the WiFi worked flawlessly throughout my visit. In summary, it's an amazing place, easy to work from, and I would recommend it to anyone.
Amazing concept, I’ve now been here for 3 months and I don’t want to leave! The place is beautiful, nestled in between the lagoon and the sea, comfortable rooms and wonderful food! The staff are so lovely and accommodating and the community aspect with all the workshops, events and excursions are fab. Still pinching myself to be here! Cannot recommend enough
