I came for the workshops and stayed for the people. What stood out most was the thoughtfulness behind the whole experience — the variety, the process, the attention to detail. The workshops covered real, meaningful topics and the way the entire journey was designed made it feel cohesive, not just a list of sessions. I left with motivation, a clearer structure for my work, and a stronger vision for where I'm heading. Being around people who are actively building things does something to you that's hard to explain. Would I recommend it? To anyone who asks: absolutely.

When I first met Michelle at her business retreat in Japan, my business was still just an idea. In fact, the very reason I started thinking about building a business at all was her 7-day online challenge , it forced me to come up with ideas and take the first step. At the retreat, I gained not only tangible resources — sales, marketing, and business strategies — but also something far more valuable: a family. A global community that meets every 3–4 months somewhere in the world, inspiring one another, building powerful connections, and creating meaningful collaborations. But my favorite “product” of Nomad Escape is the exclusive VIP dinners. Being in a room with serious entrepreneurs, inspiring speakers, authors, actors, and CEOs has given me access to people and conversations I would never have had otherwise. Michelle's Nomad Group is a really really really fantastic group of people!!! It's not your regular business entrepreneurial group. Michelle is very good at gathering a group of people that are super successful but also just wonderful beautiful people that will become your friends too. By the end I felt like I was with a group of my friends brainstorming on each other's businesses. By the way, Michelle is an amazing person. Such a kind warm, welcoming beautiful human.

The Nomad Escape events are so brilliant! I've been to 5 of them already in the past year, including the big Fest, coliving pop-ups and business retreats. I've come away from all these different events with new-found confidence, personal and professional growth, and lots of great contacts that I've since collaborated with and hope to keep doing so in future. One of the main things that attracted me to their events was the opportunity to travel to beautiful destinations, but I come back for the brilliant learning and the networking. I love how super friendly most of the other attendees are, and there's definitely more of a feel of how we can help each other, rather than just how we can sell our thing to each other. I also love the holistic approach - from offering daily exercises, to teaching us practical business skills, and then having the opportunity to go hang out together - truly the definition of "work hard, play hard"! And even when I've come across some small issues (which have been few and far between), I feel like I can bring them up with the team and they listen and quickly actionsolutions as best as they can. You can tell they just want to make the bext experience for everyone. Hands down, The Nomad Escape is one of the top business networks to be in - there's also a dedicated Discord channel so you can keep in touch with everyone online.

Wonderful experience! I'm impressed how well this retreat was organized! It was perfectly thought through from beginning to end so that everybody can make the most of it, learn and grow. The Nomad Escape really brings like-minded people together and we had a lovely community. Everybody was open and we all helped each other to grow professionally and personally. You could really feel the love and compassion that was shared during the week and the deep connections that were formed!

I joined the Nomad Escape in Madeira with little expectations but this experience was by far one of the best decisions I've ever made. I was amazed at how quickly the group came together as we connected with each other and how supportive everyone was during the mastermind sessions. I learned so much about myself in the process. It's easy when you run your own business to feel a little lost or isolated at times, if that's the case, you'll definitely find some inspiration and new friendships in this group. I can't believe it was only a week, we packed so much in and Michelle truly is an incredible host. I got value and clarity from the first mastermind i was part of! I had an idea for a business that was not clear and during the retreat i was able to test it and define it. Thanks to the experience of the other participants and the exercises that we did i came out of the week with a clear business plan. That was an unforgettable experience! Cool people, each of whom brings into your life something new and unique. Insights from different spheres, from business to mindfulness living, about which you haven't even thought before. I was following The Nomad Escape now for a while on social media and I was finally able to join this amazing experience and let me tell you this: I was not disappointed!! This week was incredible. I met people from all over the world and everybody was so unique and different but that just made it perfect. We all brought something else to the table but all in all we shared the same core values: We want to grow, learn, connect and live the best life possible. And if you surround yourself with like-minded and inspiring people, you will leave this week changed and full of energy. There‘s some pictures to give you a closer look of what we did: morning workouts, skillshare and mastermind sessions, as well as exploring the island of Madeira are a few examples. Big thanks to the nomad escape for creating this magical experience! Businesses were created, ideas were evaluated, personal breakthroughs were achieved and new inputs were given. And all of that happened in ONE SINGLE WEEK! 🤯 I can try to explain this experience as much as I want but it will not even get close to what it actually was. [insert “I came looking for copper but I found gold” meme] I won’t lie, I initially decided to participate in Nomad Escape because the location looked super nice and I wanted to see the sun one last time before the end of the year… I mostly saw the event as a nice bonus. But right after the discovery call with Michelle, I was way too excited, and was counting down days. And it turns out, the wait was worth it: the retreat _was_ amazing! I was genuinely surprised by the authenticity of the connections I made, the friendliness of everyone, and the deep conversations we all had. Also, I can now cross off laughter yoga and soviet karaoke from my bucket list. My only regret is that is was so short. I definitely intend to see everyone again in the future!
If you have a chance to go on a retreat with the Nomad Escape, do it! Michelle and Andreas Machado are incredible hosts and are amazing at connecting likeminded people. The retreat was relaxing, yet stimulating and the conversations engaging. It didn't hurt that the location was fabulous too. I've met some incredible people too and can't wait to connect with all of them again.

WOW what an amazing experience I have been part of over the last week! 🤩 Imagine co-living for a week in a gorgeous instagrammable villa, with a group of smart professionals, exchanging ideas, skillshares, taking part in masterminds and connection sessions... As if that wasn't enough, we were trained every morning by Marcus Morley-Jones on the beach and then indulging in the most amazing food! Because in order to perform at your best you must feel your best 🙂 Words cannot describe how transformative that week has been for me! It has certainly raised my standards for how I want my future holidays to look like, and cannot wait to join the next escape! Thank you Michel Le and Andreas Machado for curating it 💛
A Gratitude Letter to The Nomad Escape and all those that were part of it and made it possible. First let me thank Michel Le, the creator of the concept and idea behind The Nomad Escape for challenging me to take part in this incredible experience. Through sheer commitment to the mission of The Nomad Escape, Michel handpicked some of the most creative, knowledgeable and lively people in the digital professional space. I particularly enjoyed how some of the group dynamics were facilitated through the use of Mastermind, Skillshare, and even toolshare sessions. This allowed us to learn from each other's experience, knowledge and to take a pick a everyone else's tools. Even the more secret ones were sometimes shared due to the very intimate atmosphere that was established. Let me thank Marcus, our Personal Trainer that helped us stay strong and not lazy. I definitely feel the strength in me, so thank you Marcus for taking care of our bodies every morning and not letting us get out of shape (at least not too much). But there was a problem with this. The food was too good, so just following Marcus' exercise routine may not be enough. Consider yourself warned. Wrapping it all up it is hard to get into details without feeling I am getting into personal space. A huge portion of this experience is the connection you build with everyone here, and that can't be packaged up and just simply shared easily. Simply put, you should definitely consider joining The Nomad Escape on their next experience as part of your personal development journey. I have way more to say, much much more. And there were conversations that are still unfinished, but fortunately I hope to be able to maintain the relationships I've built during the short duration of this experience over the long term and even beyond. It’s a bit hard to describe the experience in the Nomad Escape. By coming with almost no digital background on me I really didn’t know what to expect from the program, and then, in a very smooth and easy way, BANG, magic happened ( and I don’t mean Andreas cool magic tricks 🤣). What I mean by magic, it’s Michele and Andreas’ work in giving us the best environment and tools for us to grow. It was a truly life-changing experience to engage in this community and see all the new and different possibilities that there are out there to discover, and on top with all the things that you can learn by surrounding yourself with all those super inspirational people 😊😃 I can definitely recommend this Escape to everyone that wants to grow both personal and career way.
