The Extraordinary Travel Festival (ETF) gathers the Marco Polos of the 21st century: accomplished, avid and adventurous travelers, people chasing every country in the world, explorers of extreme destinations — and anyone who loves to network with like-minded people while having serious fun. The second edition takes place October 22–25, 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand, with additional programmed events before and after the main dates. The format mixes three reasons to attend: community (old and new friends who share a passion for travel), content (30+ world-class travel speakers across keynotes, breakouts and panels), and charting a course (exploring the destination and nearby region). Speakers are the heavyweights of extreme travel — among them Thor Pedersen, who visited every country in the world without flying; Jaime Alemán, first person to complete the Grand Slam of Travel (all 193 countries, both poles and space); and Kach Medina Ugray Umandap, the first woman from the Global South on a Philippine passport to visit all 193 UN countries. Travel Content Creation Day features travel documentaries and book authors. Born from the community around travel-record chasers and grew out of the legendary Travelers' Century Club circuit, ETF is the annual rendezvous for people whose passports tell extraordinary stories.
