Cummari is a female-led coliving and retreat space in Sicily, designed for solo female travellers, artists, and digital nomads seeking connection, creativity, and cultural immersion. Founded in 2020 by Michelle Titus, a former international correspondent and entrepreneur, Cummari began in Catania and is now expanding to a new location in the seaside village of Riposto, set to open in September 2025. The new Riposto house will feature three uniquely styled bedrooms, three bathrooms, two kitchens, multiple terraces, and a rooftop with views of the Ionian Sea and Mount Etna. Each room is named after influential women, reflecting the space's dedication to celebrating feminine energy. Cummari also hosts seasonal retreats, including writing workshops, culinary experiences, and cultural immersions, all aimed at fostering personal growth and community among women. The space prioritizes inclusivity and safety, welcoming guests of all backgrounds while focusing on creating a supportive environment for women.
